At age eleven, Elphias Doge started at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. No longer contagious of his dragon pox, but still with a "pock-marked visage and greenish hue", not many approached Doge. Albus Dumbledore, however, looked past that and befriended him during their first day at the Castle. Doge believed that their mutual attraction was due to the fact that they both felt that they were outsiders: he had his greenish skin tone and Dumbledore was primarily known to others as the son of Percival Dumbledore, who scarcely a year previously had been convicted of a savage and well-publicised attack upon three young Muggles. Their peers at Hogwarts would often think of Doge as Dumbledore's "dim-witted but devoted sidekick". When Doge and Dumbledore left Hogwarts they planned to take a Grand Tour of the world together. However, when they were staying at the Leaky Cauldron and preparing to leave for Greece, they got news that Dumbledore's mother Kendra had died. Doge attended Kendra's funeral and departed for the Grand Tour without Dumbledore. He wrote letters to Dumbledore about his "narrow escapes from Chimaeras in Greece to the experiments of the Egyptian alchemists". He came back home shortly after the death of Dumbledore's sister Ariana, whose funeral he also attended. Albus Dumbledore and Elphias Doge would come to discover that Tom Malfoy had uncovered one of the deathly hollows and was attempting to discover the remainder, and they enacted a plot to give themselves an advantage by tieing Lord Voldermorte to Harry Potter but this came at a terrible price as the lives were linked as a part of this plan.

Hermione Granger, Harry Potter, and Ron Weezly were not always the the Triumverate that they would become and in the the beginning it took many close encounters for the three to finally become as close as they have. They would first meet on the train ride from the capital where the students of Hogwarts would first prepare for their departure, and it was on this train ride that the dynamics of the beginning of the group would begin. While Ron, and Harry started off as friends and Harry was always polite to Hermione there was an almost bitterness between Ron and Hermione due to Rons behavior which was caused by him finding many things difficult due to his lack of natural intelligence on their level. Hermione Granger attached herself to Harry and Ron, following them around and trying to prevent them from breaking school rules and getting into trouble. The friendship between the three was solidified when, on Halloween during their first year, the three were forced to confront a mountain troll, that had been set loose in Hogwarts in the earliest attempt on Harry's life. Unaware that a troll was on the loose in the school, Hermione had spent that day crying in the girls' bathroom after overhearing Ron making unkind comments about her. The troll made its way into the bathroom she was in, and Harry and Ron came to her rescue, and proseeded to fight the Troll. None of the three had any experiance fighting anything of that magnitude so the fight was extremely chaotic with the Troll nearly killing the group several times, but their quick thinking kept them alive. As the fight looked to be going against them Ron was picked up by the Troll who prepared to kill Ron, but before he could Harry stabbed it through the foot with a wooden post, and the Troll fell over from this. With the troll falling on its stomach Harry climbed on its back and shot it behind the head where Hermione screamed to him it had weak armor. With the troll lying dead the group stayed quiet for several minutes as Harry checked on his two friends, and though they didn't know it the Triumverate would be formed by these moments. When Professors Minerva McGonagall, Severus Snape, and Quirinus Quirrell arrived at the scene, Hermione covered for the boys, claiming she was fighting the troll because she had thought that she could fight one, having read a great deal about them, and that Ron and Harry had merely come to help her escape. From that point on, the three students were best friends.
On one night, she followed them as they were leaving Gryffindor Tower to duel Draco Malfoy. Unknown to Harry and Ron was the fact that Draco was too afraid to challenge them and because of this he had gone to Argus Filch and told him that Harry and Ron were going to the third floor to cause mayhem. When they arrived at the dueling spot they were spotted by Argus Filch of whom demanded to know what they were doing up there and before he could say anything else they bolted away from him and ran upstairs. They were chased by Argus Filch, acting on a tip off by Malfoy, into the third floor corridor — forbidden to students — where they came face-to-face with Fluffy, a three-headed dog belonging to Hagrid. Later on, she argued that her spying was to their benefit when she pointed out the dog had been standing on a trap door, which Harry and Ron had not noticed. After using Magi to cause the dog to fall asleep they moved the god again with Magi before descending into the trap door. After going through the trapdoor, a long drop led to a chamber filled with Devil's Snare, planted by the Herbology teacher, Professor Sprout. The Devil's Snare was designed to entangle and suffocate any intruders, especially quickly the more the intruder attempts to escape. As the Snare is sensitive to heat and light, Hermione used a charm that created a jet of Bluebell flames to free Ron. As they attempted to turn back a Magi wall appeared behind them leading to them having no choice but to go down.
A downward sloping passage led to another chamber filled with flying keys, charmed by Professor Flitwick. A large wooden door led to another chamber. The door would not open with the use of any charm such as Alohomora, one needed the correct key to get through. To pass, one had to use the broomstick provided to catch the correct key. However, once airborne, the other keys will try and attack the pursuer. The group attempted to ride broomsticks which were on the ground in order to reach the keys but they continued to fail at this until finally Harry was able to reach the top of the room and made a death defying jump in order to reach the correct key, and then survived the jump after Hermione slowed his fall with Magi. When the group finally managed to get the key and get into the next room a man in a dark robe appeared in front of them, and while this man throughout the conversation to follow would remain anonymous in truth it was an apparition of Tom Malfoy. When they attempted to raise their wands against him he disarmed the group and proceeded to tell them a story.
The man would proceede to tell them that story before making them perfectly aware of the fact that they were going to die, unless they did what he wanted and got him the stone. The three attempted to resist him, but he was far to powerful in that moment and they were pushed back again. With no hope the three agreed to his demands and told him that they would get him the stone. With this the man would pick up their wands and hand them back to the three before he pushed them through a door and into the next room.
The next chamber was dark and resembled a graveyard, it contained a Human Chess Game, enchanted by Professor McGonagall. To defeat the game, one had to play themselves across the board and checkmate the King according to the rules of Chess. One cannot simply walk across the board and pass, so an adequate knowledge of Wizard's Chess was needed to complete this task. Ron had come to love chess during his time at Hogwarts and was one of the best in the entire school so he was able to defeat the game quite easily, but on the checkmate move he was forced to sacrifice his player and this injured him, and with the entrance to the final room closing in front of them Hermione, and Harry were encouraged by Ron to leave him behind to find his own way out while they went through to the final stage.
The next obstacle guarding the Stone was a logical riddle set by Professor Snape, and entering the room Hermione, and Harry now alone without Ronald are left to enter what they know is the last obstacle to their goal. Before entering the room the two held each other for some a few minutes as Hermione had begun to shake uncontrollably out of fear, and Harry consoled her, and in this moment kissed her on the forehead another moment in the expanding chemistry between the two best friends. Upon entering the chamber, the doorway through which one entered was blocked by a purple flame. The other entry way leading to the Philosopher's Stone, was blocked with black flame. A table with seven bottle of differing shapes sat in the middle of the room. Each bottle contained a liquid, but the bottles were not labelled with their contents. Three were poison, two contained nettle wine, one contained a potion to safely traverse the black flame, and the last contained a potion that allowed passage back through the purple flames. The riddle, when properly worked out, revealed the contents of each bottle, and therefore which one was safe to drink to allow onward progress.
Hermione tells Harry that it is a test of logic and not magic wherein most wizards fail. She solves the puzzle, and at Harry's instruction, drinks the one that will allow her to head back through the purple flame, while Harry drinks the one to head into the black flame and into the final room, where he is surprised at who he sees. As Professor Quirrell presumably traveled through the chamber to reach the Mirror of Erised, he must have had to take the Black Fire Potion himself, and, as there was only enough potion for one person in the bottle, that would have used it all up. However, he may have taken some of the potion with him when he entered the chambers, and drunk that instead. Another possibility is that the bottles had had a Refilling Charm on them.
The final obstacle was the Mirror of Erised, designed and set by Albus Dumbledore and was designed with a major moral shield leading to those with moral failings to basically be unable to succeed at this test. The only way to obtain the stone was to look into the mirror, see yourself having it, but not using it. Most people would see themselves using it, such as turning things to gold, crafting Elixir of Life, or giving it to someone. It was at this moment that the man in the dark robe appeared again and this time he revealed himself as Proffesor Quirrell and told the three that he was unable to get the stone from the mirror, and the only person he believed that could was Harry Potter and it was for this reason that he had Draco Malfoy lure the three of them into the tunnel. Also appearing at this point are several others dressed in dark clothing wearing masks who support Quirrel, and while their identity would remain a mystery the people were in fact Draco Malfoy, Astoria Malfoy, Tobias Grundeven, and Charlotte Painsley of whom were there under orders from the Deatheaters leadership. Quirrell asks for help from his master to get the Stone, and a snake-like voice tells him to use the boy. Harry is told to look into the Mirror. Under threat Harry is forced to look into the mirror. He sees his reflection pull the Stone out of his pocket and put it back in, and Harry feels it drop into his own pocket. He lies to Quirrell about what he sees, telling him instead that he sees himself shaking hands with Dumbledore, after winning the House Cup for Gryffindor. The snake-like voice tells Quirrell Harry is lying and Quirrell takes his turban off to show Harry what lies on the back of his head. As Quirrell turns around, Harry is shocked to see another face where the back of Quirrell's head should be. The face has red eyes and a snake-like slit where the nose should be. Harry realises this is the face of whoever this Lord Voldemort is, and Voldemort demands Harry give him the Stone. Harry refuses and runs, but Quirrell seizes him. However, the contact with Harry's skin burns Quirrell and causes him to have boils all over the area in which Harry touched him. Harry grabs Quirrell's face, then his arm, and holds on, with the blinding pain in his head building, until he feels the arm wrenched away before he blacks out. He awakes in the hospital wing with Dumbledore there, telling him Quirrell did not succeed at getting the Stone, and indeed the Stone has been destroyed.
Conflict with Draco
During his early time in Hogwarts he was consistently approached by one Draco Malfoy who wished for Harry to leave the school. When it became clear that wasn't going to happen the two became bitter rivals and were in near constant conflict with eachother. In the days that came before the Basilisk Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy engaged in a duel which unkown to Harry caused the death of Harnia Trout of House Slytherin.
| The End of House Potter |
A week ago our families were just our families. Something annoying that we had to see all together on holidays. I took for granted all the love and protection they offered, and now look at them. Piled up in a room dead. I lost everyone tonight. I lost my family tonight.
The End of House Potter
Main Article : House Potter
The disappearance of Harry Potter was something very noticeable as the conflict in Hogwarts continued to rage but the forces of Tom Malfoy were unaware of the disappearance as the loyalists attempted to hide his mission from all outsiders. Because they didn't know he had left the operation they had planned to kill him along with the rest of his house remained in place, and two days after Harry and Hermione left Tom and his forces massed for the attack on Bredin's Hollow. The Hollow was the hideout of nearly the entire House Potter, and for this reason it had major defenders with it, but the disaster would come when one of their members in Peter Pettigrew betrayed his best friends and turned to the side of Tom Malfoy. This betrayal meant that he lowered sections of the shield allowing the forces of Tom Malfoy to sneak inside the Hollow, and thus they silently went throughout the defenders and wiped them out.The members of House Potter not knowing that there defences were gone went about there time in the house and it was with shock that Tom Malfoy burst through the front door while they were eating and proceeded to kill the family. A few including Lilly Potter suvived the inital attack, and it was for these members that the worst would be done. Tom had the few men that surived executed on the spot but the women were brutalized in the worst ways until only Lilly survived. In her dying breath she mocked Tom's failings.
"You have failed in your mission Thomas...my son...lives on."
-Lilly PotterIt was in that moment that Tom understood that in his haste he hadn't noticed that Harry Potter wasn't one of the dead. With reinforcements from Hogwarts incoming Tom and his forces raced out of the house and left behind the ruins of House Potter. Inside the Potter estate lay the bodies of basically the entire family outside of the few that were not there at the time, but most importantly in the end was the fact that Harry Potter was not there as if he was there would have been no stopping the future end game of the insane Tom Malfoy.
As Hermione and Harry arrived in Hogwarts on the griphon they were met by Ron who they expected to be upset about being left behind but instead he simply silent gave Harry a hug before whispering in his ear that something terrible had happened.
"Harry you have to promise me that you won't do anything stupid once I tell you this because after everything thats happened you know I'll follow you, and after everything thats happened I have to believe were just not a match for him. What he did...Its something...I just can't fathom how someone could have so much hate in them."
When Harry promised that he wouldn't do anything stupid Ron told him that basically everyone in his family was dead, and that their massacre was the work of Tom Malfoy. As Harry begin to lose control, and begin openly saying that he would go after Tom he was reminded by Ron that he had promised and that between the three of them a promise meant everything. As Hermione attempted to hug him he became discusted with himself for what he felt he had done to Ron, and he recoiled before running into the woods nearbye where he was followed not by one of the Triumverate but instead he was followed silently into the woods by Ginny Weezly.
A Mistake in the Night
As he finnally slumped against a tree he silently hoped that Hermione would follow him, and that he could just hold her. Despire everything that had happened he wanted her. He wanted her with everything and when he felt a hand touch his shoulder, and then soft lips touch his lips he allowed his mind to ignore the red hair of Ginny Weezly and just believe in that moment that it was Hermione. The two became intimate, and with no restraints or thought of the future he allowed Ginny to believe as he continuesly said that he loved her to believe that he meant her and not Hermione. This would lead to many mistakes, and future problems but most of all it would lead to the fact that Ginny would always remember that moment and would from that point on believe that Harry loved her. As they finished and Harry realized the depths of the mistake that he had just made, he attempted to think of some way to fix things but their was nothing that he could think of the repair this. His family was gone. He had betrayed his two best friends by becoming intimate with Ginny, and falling in love with Hermione, and no matter what he tried he didn't think he could fix that. In that moment he looked at Ginny and where he was feeling dread, and dispair she had the look of pure happiness across her face, and he allowed himself for a moment to forget, and together they leaned against a tree and he wrapped her together with him in his cloak before they fell asleep together.

I know that you are preparing to fight. Your efforts are futile. You cannot fight me. I do not want to kill you. I have great respect for the teachers of Hogwarts. I do not want to spill magical blood. Give me Harry Potter, and none shall be harmed. Give me Harry Potter, and I shall leave the school untouched. Give me Harry Potter, and you will be rewarded. You have until midnight.
Battle of Hogwarts

Following the Night of Violence and the massacre of House Potter the forces of the Death Eaters had failed in their further attempts to anihilate the remainder of House Potter including extreme failures in the killings of Luna, and Sirius Potter of whom were basically undefended at a northern estate but had been rescued by Ron Weezly in the night. Following these failures and the return of Harry, and Ron to Hogwarts the Deatheaters were leaked that Harry had returned and brought their full forces to bear against Hogwarts in the form of hundreds of Deatheaters, and nearly four thousand men at arms against the defenders of Hogwarts who had not called on the vassals of Hogwarts and thus were low on foot soldiers but high on Magi fighters. Thus arriving and putting the city under siege they would realize that they could not hold their position for long and the only real form of diplomacy was Lord Voldermorte coming to the Hogwarts bridge and threatening the city if they did not release Harry Potter but he was rebuffed and thus true to his threats the Deatheaters would prepare their assault for the next day at mid-day. Very little diplomacy went between the two sides as following the Night of Violence it was very clear that the only purpose of the men of the Death Eaters was the destruction of the current members of Hogwarts that had not sided with them, and thus this left little room for haggling.
With the morning coming and going and the defenders unwilling to hand over Harry Potter and the other surviving members of House Potter Tom Malfoy would reluctantly be forced to launch the assault despite knowing that his forces were not capable of taking the city. With the forces of the Death Eaters being pushed back all across the lines but the losses mounting on both sides it was Harry Potter that would leave the battlements along with Ron where he moved to duel Lord Voldermorte in what he thought would end the siege. As the two approached Tom Malfoy who was in the middle of killing
Retreat of the Death Eaters
Following the defeat of Lord Voldermorte by Harry Potter and his near death, along with the arrival in the west by a relief force from outside forces the forces of the Death Eaters would nearly to a man rout into a full scale retreat.

They came here to destroy us. There was no need for diplomacy because both sides knew that the goal was annihilation, and no amount of words was going to change the Teutons minds. That was the saddest part for me. The knowledge that death was the only way this thing ended. Either they died...or we did.
Following the Chaos that was the Hogwarts Civil War there was a brief period where there was peace in the region of Hogwarts. During this time under the leadership of the increasingly influential Harry Potter the city rebuilt itself, and the damage that the Malfoy's had done to the Republic was slowly repaired. But this peace lasted for less then a few months, and it became a moot point when Hogwarts begin receiving letters from the Empire asking for their surrender. This came as a shock as the two parties had usually shared a common interest, and that interest had been for mutual trade and never towards annexation but clearly something had changed. For Hogwarts they met this calls with returns saying that they were basically confused as to what had happened, and thus they wished to remain friends and trading partners but the response to this implied very clearly that the Empire wasn't going to let their aggression just go down and thus those inside Hogwarts reformed their defenses and prepared for the coming offensive.
On the Empire side of things they had been contacted by the forces of the Deatheaters and in this communication they had made deals with House Malfoy in order to destroy Hogwarts in order to facilitate better control of Hogwarts more northern region as well as promises of giving up the other independents around Hogwarts. It had begun with several trips by the servants of Lord Voldermorte to Nuln itself the capital of Austria and while at first Priam Troy deemed it unimportant to him he was alerted to the interest in Hogwarts by some of his more disloyal members of Austria and this brought him to the negotiating table. In the end he cared nothing for Hogwarts and thus made a deal relatively quickly, but in a fake gesture of kindness he placed most of his political enemies in charge of the actual military campaign and offered them nearly all the rewards that went along with it. The forces of Austria would cross the Urhine River near Pfeildorf, and as the armies assembled the divided leadership sent by Priam Troy found themselves supported in the region by basically no one as the entire region was very frightened of the Imperial movement against Hogwarts and several of these surrounding nations openly stated they were supportive to Hogwarts.Scouts that had been placed throughout the countryside begin reporting back to Hogwarts that a truly massive army was incoming towards the fortress in numbers in the hundreds of thousands. The Hogwarts ally in the Realm of Zelhinir would also send scouts into the fight led by two huntresses in the form of Syndel Winterdew, and Aethalas Coldwind of whom would be responsible for silently cutting down the scouting groups of the Empire army in order to blind them as much as possible to what they were walking into. The Empire commanders had ignored the defenses around the fortress of Tarherd and the fortress of Tinevarn was also ignored leaving the entirety of the Emperian army to make a near direct line towards the capital in Hogwarts. Believing that the army would first attempt to establish control of the region the defenses were prepared for the eventuality that they had more time to prepare but to their surprise the army made its way directly towards the fortress with only small splinters moving towards the mini castles scattered throughout the kingdom. Other then these forces the Empire also sent a large force under the command of Wilhem Delgougen of whom led a force of Austrians towards the Realm of Dale where they would attempt to take control of the northern farming lands, and the extremely valuable central mining grounds. When they were only a day away from the fortress they sent one last letter to Hogwarts basically stating that if they didn't surrender they would all die within the fortress, and to this letter Hogwarts simply burned it and did not respond. There was some debate within the fortress led by Edgar Hufflepuff of whom wished to surrender and take their chances, but eventually it was completely agreed upon that the Emperian army would not honor the surrender either way, and thus they were fighting to the death no matter what way they did things. The next day the army of the Empire arrived on the outskirts of Hogwarts and begin encircling the fortress. While the Empire was doing this Harry Potter led a large contingent of Dumbledore's army through the tunnels beneath the fortress, and they made their way behind the lines of the attackers. Severus Snape led the main tier of defenses at the massive bridge, while in the open fields of the western block the defenses were led by Albus Dumbledore, and Minerva Griffindor. A small relief force was sent northward from the large Hogwarts town of Holyhead, but the vast majority of Holyhead's forces were arrayed in Holyhead itself as it was threatened by a small army coming against it. The plan for Hogwarts was basically to use massive summoned creatures to block the attackers while the overwhelming Magi of the people was used against the basically exposed troops of the Empire. Damara Dodderidge the headmaster of House Griffindor would assemble a troop of forces as the attack was preparing to be launched against Hogwarts and moved this force into the neighboring nation of Dale of which was one of the most stalwart of Hogwart's allies and was going to come under some assault. The Empire's commanders present wanted to shell the fortress for two days before attacking and through this to wear down the defenders, but the overall commander in didn't think this necessary and simply ordered that the troops to move forward and mass the Hogwarts defenders.
Fall of Hogsmeade
The town of Hogsmeade was located just north of Hogwarts and located beneath it in terms of latitude it's taking was required before someone could take Hogwarts but problamatic in its defence was its nearly devoid level of fortifications. Placed in charge of the defence of Hogsmeade was Anders Hufflepuff of whom was joined by several other very influential members of Hogwarts in the hopeless defense of Hogsmeade meant more to damage the Emperian forces then actually hold the town. As the Empire forces arrived near Hogsmeade the town had been completely drained of population and the only remains in the town were some five hundred infantry from Hogwarts and nearly a hundred Magi. The Empire sent in some two thousand troops into Hogsmeade and these troops were able to quickly push the small Hogwarts forces out of the town, but they did take significant casualties after they were caught in several fire traps and acrurate archer fire from the buildings. Either way the forces of Hogwarts lost some sixty troops in the failed defence, but the Emperian forces lost nearly three hundred and eighty troops which was a drop in the bucket for what they had in total.
The Attack Begins
The Emperian army would halt itself in the ruins of Hogsmeade and unlike most of the north they did not devastate the town as they would use it as a staging point for their forward command while the main command remained north of Hogsmeade and ordered the battle from afar. In the west a small Emperian army assisted by a force moving in from Lorraine and western Austria would halt itself north of Holyhead and block it from being able to send assistance to Hogwarts as the main army moved against it. In the south it was the forces of Dale that were beating back the forces of Austria around Holyhead, and thus in the south the static nature meant that no reinforcements were going to be coming from either sides to the Hogwarts Battle.
The Western Field
The attack on the western field was always going to be the most numerous, and this had more to do with the fact that the commanders of the Empire believed so strongly in their superiority in numbers that the western field offered the largest of the attack avenues so thus the most troops were sent in. Alongside this large scale opening in the western front there was also the fact that the walls of the western section of Hogwarts were only a single tier while all the other sectors of Hogwarts were two tiers of walls, and in the case of the northern route there was three tiers of walls. Nearly fifty thousand troops were on this western side, and they prepared to attack in three waves with the first wave consisting of some 15,000 troops and this first wave was shockingly made up of most of the elite sections of the western army. In the defenses by this point Dumbledore, and the nearly two hundred Magi with him had summoned to them thousands of elemental creatures of which were hidden carefully in small crevasses throughout the fields thus concealing them from view and in this way they would create a massive shock value when they first appeared. Alongside the hundreds of Magi, and the thousands of Elemental also stood nearly four thousand regular troops of the Hogwarts Castle of which would defend the walls with arrows, and cauldrons but no one believed they could hold for long against such numbers. In command of the western attack would be Vaelin Troy a cousin of Priam Troy, and despite being known as a casual drunk and foolish in mind he was placed in charge of a large force of men at arms.
Lake Hogwarts expanded a large proportion of the eastern approach but there was a small series of locks, and islands that allowed the attackers to attempt an attack that of all the attacks would prove to be the most dangerous, and in the end the most devastating in terms of overall percentage lost. The Empire over the night had constructed hundreds of small boats which they would use to transport the force of some 14,000 in the first wave to the series of small island castles that dotted the lakes locks, while another force of 18,000 would make the attack on foot directly against the locks through the canals that were open to the ground. As an added attack angle a group of some 2,500 unarmored troops were prepared to swim to the first series of locks with the goal of being light skirmishers that would hopefully augment the attack, and would be armed by small equipment boats that would be sent along with the attack. The Empire forces would come at the river during the night, and they hoped that the night would provide additional cover but the Magi defenders would use illumination spells to light the sky once they knew the attack was underway and thus despite it being the pitch dark of night they could see all around them.
The Northern Bridge was a massive sixty foot wide bridge connecting the northern pass to the castle itself, and stretched for some six hundred feet with no cover. For this northern attack the forces of The Empire believed they had little chance of success and so Vaelin Troy placed in charge of the attack the noblemen Herdeck Ont of House Ont of whom were resisters to the direction of House Troy and had been a main source of Priam's ire.
The Suprise Attack
With the forces of The Empire being destroyed in the eastern locks, and massacred in the northern approach the overall commanders saw only one true opportunity and that was to throw all of their reserves into the battle on the western front which while being devestating for them casualties wise was the only one that they were even advancing into. But while they continued down this path of thought they could not see that the force led by Harry Potter and his friends was now only minutes away from their command base in the northern approach. The command base had been constructed beneath a hilltop which turned it into a valley, which they believed was a nice spot to conceal themselves but they didn't anticipate it would allow an enemy force to advance almost secretly to its outskirts. With the reserves spread throughout the region the commanders were defended by a small force of only some two thousand troops and by this point some of those had been sent to the northern approach to attempt to keep the defenders there locked down meaning there was only some 1,000 troops left in the command base to defend. Harry, Hermion, and Ron gathered themselves and their force and begin encircling the command base with their full force of some three hundred Magi, and they begin silently over the next few hours they each summoned elementals to them which brought their force to some two thousand meaning they were about to attack the command base with complete suprise and have the numbers advantage. Waiting till night Hermion, Harry, and Ron settled into the hilltop and laid together in what was perhaps one of the last moments that the Triumverate would ever have with complete trust and love for eachother. Together they talked about everything they had been through, and they promised themselves that when they were done they would try to just be students again.
The Massacre and Retreat
As night fell the Triumverate were awoken by Neville Longbottem of whome told them it was time. With this decleration the group made the sign that the time was now to attack and with this the entire force advanced over the hills and into the valley beneath. The Triumverate moved silently as did the rest of the force, and all around there was the bright hue of different colored elementals as the elementals followed their summoners into a massacre that would send reverberations throughout Europe, and lead to a further series of massacres that would prove to be a marking point in history. The group was able to reach the camp without any problem and they all silently took down any sentries that were present, and then once they were litterly touching the hundreds of tents they unleashed the elementals into the camp while the Magi waited on the outskirts and killed anyone able to escape the inforno of the elementals. Over the next few minutes the force of some 1,000 troops along with the nearly another 1,500 commanders, administrators, servents, and aristocrats were massacred leaving no survivors. With the command base annihilated they burned the remains to the ground to make sure everyone was dead before they then sent Magi messages to the defenders in Hogwarts that the command structure was gone.
Battle of Holyhead
In the south while the main force of Imperials was attacking Hogwarts the southern commander in Wilhem Delgougen was forced to consolidate his forces to move them all around Holyhead in order to keep the fighting in the south going as the forces of Dale had arrived in heavy numbers and had been joined by the Kingdom of Taledavia and together they had defeated the forces of the Empire in the south pushing them all towards Holyhead. Still besieging the city of Holyhead, Wilhem Delgougen did not understand he was now horribly outnumbered due to the work of Shindrell Icewing who had entered the conflict and had went about killing all the scouts of Wilhems army. The two kings of Dale arrived at Holyhead and on the understanding it was for diplomacy they would engage Wilhem in conversation and without scouts Wilhem while he was negotiating was surrounded to the north by the forces of Prince Talbot Grendren of Taledavia, and once this was finished King Bard Girion II. of Dale would let Wilhem know this and accepted the surrender of Wilhem of whom had know hope of victory following this.
Destruction of Greenshop
Following the destruction of The Empire Army, Dumbledore's army council quickly convened and decided that the Empire needed to understand that this sort of behavior would not be accepted. In order to do this they decided to destroy the city of Greenshop where the remenents of the army had retreated to, and reinforcements were now funelling into. A force of Magi led by Severus Snape would arrive at the outskirts of Greenshop as the massive army of The Empire was reasembling for another attack of which Hogwarts would not survive. Grouping together nearly a hundred Hogwarts Magi grouped their power together to asssist in the actual conjuring of the spell that would have dire cicumstances. The actualy spell would be cast by Severus Snape, and its effects would basically rip the entire city of Greenship into the sky and then it slowly turned into dust. Those who watched the destruction said that such destruction wasn't even believed to be possible, but what this had showed was how truly horrifying Magi could be when turned to the pursuit of destruction.
Complete and Unconditional Surrender
When news filtered in to the Empire's military command that Hogwarts had completely destroyed the city of Greenshop, there was extreme fear amongst all present. The loss of the nearly 110,000 person city was too much for Karl Franz, and led him to send a letter of unconditional surrender to Hogwarts.
This surrender was unprecedented in Empire History, and would be a source of great shame for many of the military elites in The Empire.

I love the both of you. You should have never made me pick. This should have never come to this.
The Triumverate while once being a friendship that looked like it could survive everything that went against it, the situation between Harry and Ron was growing barely controllable and this was only going to get worse with the growing romance of Harry and Hermione. With Harry and Hermione now involved in a full out love affair the two were taking more and risks in their attempt to be together. They began to go almost religiously to the forbidden forest and proceeded to make love in their hopeless pursuit of each other, and to fill the emptiness they both felt after the loss of basically there entire families. While this was happening Lavander Dumebledore of whom loved Ron was still stung over her rejected love for Ron and begin to hate Hermione for being the reason in her mind that she and Ron were not together. On this day though they would be caught by the increasingly dangerous fellow army member Lavander Dumbledore, who had followed the two into the forest. The situation didn't spiral completely out of control at first as luckily she confronted them while they were just kissing but Hermione quickly realized that Lavander was dangerous and because of this she pulled out her wand just in time to deflect a spell which then hit Harry full in the chest and knocked him backwards. Now distraught that Harry was hurt, and completely overcome with rage she unleashed a massive wave of spells at the mismatched Lavander who was beaten quite badly by the superior Hermione. Harry of whom had been knocked out by the ambush spell of Lavander would be carried by Hermion back to Hagrad's home where the two would patch him up leaving Lavander in the forest.Following the attack between Lavander, and Hermione, it would be Lavender who despite being badly injured would manage to get herself back to Hogwarts and she broke into Ron's shared dormitory room injuring several other Gryfindor students who tried to stop her. Finally infront of Ron she would once again tell Ron about the events of the attack and the fact that she had seen the two of them together, and once again she was disgusted when Ron didn't believer her and basically sent her away like a crazy person. With the situation between the triumverate standing in very bad shape, the time came for the three of them to come together and decide what they were going to do about the actual situation in Hogwarts after they learned of the taking of Tevinter by Lord Voldermorte. Despite the love the three shared for each other, the damage was quickly spreading into the core of the friendship and it was becoming a case that their was real hate brewing between Harry, and Ron. The Three planned to meet despite the hostility between Ron and Harry at their secret home in the fortress of Marni where no one can find them. Hermione following the three meeting would be approached by Ron of whom wanted to see her as they hadn't been alone together in weeks, and despite truly caring about Ron she rejected him and then left him saying they would talk again after they met at Marni. Following this she would go to see Harry to tell him that she loves him, and whatever happens between the three of them she will always love him. When she arrives the two as they always do lose themselves into each other, and make love. After they are done, she prepares to leave, but she sees Harry putting on a necklace and when she sees the necklace she recognizes the necklace as one of the Dead Grails. When he told her that Dumbledore had given him the necklace and said that Dumbledore said it was all that was left of his father's possessions she would nearly immediately run out of his room making excuses and make her way to the Hogwarts library. Hermione had read at the library a book called The Nefarion which has chronicled a terrible truth about three mythical items. The Nefarion told a story about a book, a sword, a ring, and a pendent that were the complete construction of the Dark Lord Sauron, in his quest to destroy the Numenorians. The book was the first of the three, and the book was so violent in the writings of the pages that anyone that read it became eventually lost in the same kind of madness. This book had passed down throughout the life of Europe, and had destroyed all that had read from it including its most recent reader in the form of Bill Lovie. The next was the sword which the book said had been taken in ancient times by a truly honorable Knight who recegnized its evil, and had sacrificed himself by killing himself on the sword, and then burying it in the mountain he had wandered into.
Confronting the Truth
Albus Dumbledore knew that eventually he would have to deal with what he had planned, and he knew the moment she had discovered his plan that the moment was upon him. He had first noticed the Nefarion was in her possesion when he sent Severus to look for it and he came back telling him that the book had been taken out by Hermione, and when he learned this he would come to understand it was just a matter of time until she discovered the truth. She stood in front of Dumbledore and they just waited for the other to talk before he finally stood up and walked towards her and placed his hand on her shoulder. He told her that he was sorry that Harry had to die, but it was necessary. The two would argue and he would explain to her that the only way to kill Voldermorte was to destroy the Horcrux that bonded him to this world. She begged to know why they couldn't destroy it some other way, and he said that the only thing that could destroy the horcrux was someone of the bloodline that bore its hatred into the world, and this particular time it had been the killing of the Potters meaning that the only one would be Harry Potter himself.
Realizing that as long as he had the pendant he was in danger because Voldermorte would want the pendant back so she knew what she had to do. Albus would attempt to stop her, and another argument broke out as she attacked him causing damage all over his office, and leading to a near breakdown on her part. During this breakdown he would unknowingly reveal to her that the ring was in the possession of the Alcasian noblewomen Leliana Orsinio which led her even during the argument to begin formulating her plan to save Harry. Unable to stop her or dissuade her from stopping him he allowed her to leave, and she went to her room and got Nefarion before heading to meet with the Triumvirate for what only she understood to be the last time.
The three engage first in a constructive conversation but it soon becomes about what Hermione is doing with Harry, and Ron forces her hand when he gives her one minute to decide between the two of the. Hermione in her heart knows that things have changed and she now wants Harry with everything in her but she can't hurt Ron in that moment so she just walks out. As she walks out Ron bolts at Harry and begins to strangle him. Harry loves Ron and refused to hurt him, so he basically doesn't fight back and the situation gets out of hand before Hermione uses a spell to teleport Ron out of the room and into Hogwarts Castle. Realizing that she just chose Harry she emotionally walks out of the room but is closely followed by Harry who begs her not to leave.
Harry Potter would catch up with Hermione and so overcome with feelings over what she now knew she would start kissing him and as they were getting more heated it was a shocking moment for the two of them as while the two were nearly sleeping together in the forest that had become their place they were shockingly found by a well aware Ginny Weezly of whom alerted the two to the fact that she knew about them. Hermione shocked by this would run off once again, and Harry left behind to deal with the damage would learn that Ginny was pregnant and had already gone to Sirius Potter and lied to him about their current engagement and the marriage had been sanctioned by Sirius and she had already spread it through her family as well. Realizing that she had spread it so far that it was going to be a political nightmare to end it Harry would delay her through lying and told her how excited he was, and after kissing he would make excuses and leave to go find Hermione. So early on in their pregnancy he would decide to lie for a time and try to run off with Hermione, and it would be with this in mind that he would find her outside of the forest packing her horse.
Harry and Hermione get into a long and very emotionally fight which leads to them making love outside of the fortress. Harry following this attempts with everything in him to make them be together now because in his heart he knows that he needs her, but as she starts to give in to him and they begin to kiss they are interrupted by Ron who steps from the shadows to reveal that he had clearly witnessed the entire thing. With the situation of the Triumverate now in shambles Hermione tells Harry that she's leaving for a time, and that when she returns they will be together one way or another. She said that she wanted his pendant so that she would have something of his, and without thinking about it Harry gave her the necklace.
Realizing it was never going to be possible leaving him she would give him one last passionate kiss before getting on her horse and riding away from the fortress leaving Harry behind.
For Lavander Dumebledore the fall of the Triumverate was of little interest to her but instead it was after Ron left her that something inside Lavander broke, and she found herself with a level of almost unimaginable angrier that she never thought possible. Finding herself this way she would walk away from the castle finding herself on the road when she would be stopped by Melia Chow of whom had witnessed the entire conversation and was now completely aware of the situation. Melia Chow was one of many silent supporters of House Malfoy in Hogwarts, and he saw this as a perfect opportunity to get in the good books of House Malfoy by turning someone so close to the dangerous Triumvirate. Watching from afar for as long as she had Melia would now move in and feed Lavander the words she wanted to hear, and further turned Lavander against Hermione, but also turned her against Harry of whom Mellia lied about in order to make Lavander angry with him as well.
