The Church of Bretonia

New Paris is a very large city that only came into excistence following the Fall of France. Although it is part of Alcase, it still says prayers for the King of Bretonia. It is only its massive population, and location along a major attack route for Orcs, that forces Alcase to allow their behavior to continue.

New Paris is led by the Frankish House Pontie of whom only entered the Kingdom of Alcase with the founding of New Paris, and is somewhat of an outsider because they are not Burgundian as most other houses are.

New Paris is located between two mountain ranges, and for this reason its climate is much cooler then most of the region around it. This mountain range also means that there are two very gloomy tall lengthed forests that growth north and south of the city, and provide a lot of lumber to the city. The main source of water is Lake Biel which is located east of the city, and from this lake they also get a large amount of food from the large amount of fish the lake has.

The area where new Paris stands was for the majority of its history tribal land. During this time the land switched control from Trolloc, to humans and back and forth. This changed with the coming of the Bretonians, and they laid permenant claim to this area, and they established this most eastern land as agricultural land for the KIngdom. Since it lay on the extreme eastern border of Bretonian it was a place of much trade between Bretonian and Alcase. When the Battle of Lyons was lost to the humans, the civilians of France were basically told to flee with whatever they could, and save themselves as France was gone. While most of the convoys fled northwest to Matron, or North to England or northeast to The Empire. There were many that went east to the Kingdom of Alcase. Once in Alcase the Franks begin grouping together in the area and begin calling their new town New Paris after the fallen city of Bretonia. During these times this area was annexed into Alcase, as they wanted a more defendable position and the mountains of the region made it more of a boddleneck against the Orcs.
