Gregrick Troy is the son of two members of House Fichtner making him a member of House Fichtner. Vessla Troy would be married to Gregrick Fichtner of whom as a bastard allowed them to have it formed as a Matrilineal Marriage, and ever since their marriage Gregrick has been devoutly loyal to his new family.
Gregrick Fichtner would be born in the town of Tortengurtz but was born the bastard child of the younger brother of Lord Fichtner thus placing him well out of the line of succession for the powerful house Fichtner. Gregrick, and Dominic Troy would be sent by Priam Troy to the Meetings in Aldorf where they would work alongside the Ulric forces to work against the Emperor's attempt to stop the conflict in Arnor and move the Imperium towards battling against the east.

The Imperium of Germania had historically hosted Blots on only the most important moments of the imperium, and Emperor Karl Franz seeing the escalating violence in Arnor, saw that the situation was spiralling out of control, and thus called a Blot of which every province in the Imperium was required to attend.
