Hermione Granger is the daughter of the late John, and Tanji Granger therebye making her the the only surviving member of her family the small but still noble House Granger. Hermione Granger has one sibling in the form of Thomas Granger of whom is the Lord of House Granger following the death of their parents and has turned House Granger into a powerhouse having taken control of the town of Haris during the Hogwarts Civil War.
Hermione Granger is unique in that she is a Christian which is a rare thing to be in a region this far north.
Hermione Granger is a Magi sensitive person, of which she is a very high level Magi user with her level being Level Four. Hermione Granger is extremely powerful in the use of Entropy Magi with her ability to conjure ideas from the Fade very high, and she also does not require the use of a wand or staff anymore as she has become skilled enough to reach into the fade without its assistence.
She learned, at the age of eleven, that she was a witch and had been accepted into Hogwarts. Hermione began attending the school when she was eleven, almost twelve, and was sorted into Gryffindor House. An academically brilliant student, Hermione became best friends with fellow Gryffindors Harry Potter and Ron Weezly in her first year of school. When they first met on the Hogwarts Express, Harry and Ron thought of her as obnoxious and self-centred, a belief that she only furthered as the school year went on, besting them in every class. However, when Ron and Harry saved her from a troll, she took the blame for them and became their friend. This close relationship between the three survived two wars and the deaths of many in their families but has become shaken by the growing love between Harry Potter and Hermione Granger. Hermione would become embroiled in conflict and death, but it was the realization by her that Harry Potter was being sacrifised by Dumbledore that led her to change her course completely. Hermione would be unable to get Dumbledore to change his mind so instead she went to the library and was able to uncover a large amount of information about the Deathly Hollows. Learning everything she could she would come to realize that the only way she could stop Harry's death would be to gather all the deathly Hollows she could and bring them together in order to destroy their power over Harry. Hermione would leave the lands of Hogwarts and travel westward to the lands of the Kingdom of Alcase where she learned she would find the first of the deathly hollows. In Alcase she would join the forces of the Kingdom of Alcase during a massive battle against the chaos forces of John Orsinio where she would save the life of Talbot Von Orsinio and thus allow him to defeat John Orsinio and rout the chaos army. Following this Hermione would travel westward where she would meet with the True Sons of Lucerne force called the Circle of Magi led by Bill Lovie of whom had the second part of the Deathly Hollows. When she was inside Orleans she posed as Alice Lovie to the nearly demented Bill, and this allowed her to see into the mind of the troubled former king and gain intimate access into the city. Her access led her to understand that Myctism the next deathly hollows was always on Bill Lovie and that it would always be attatched to him as long as he was living. Knowing she would need to kill him, she would assist her friend Logan Lerman and his sister in their plans of taking control of Orleans. She would sabotage the defences of the Circle of Magi secretly while the forces of Lucerne, and Ashley Lermans forces took control of the lower levels, and she would nearly fail in her task when she attempted to save Logan. She would arrive in the top tier of the tower when the final fight went down, and it was her precense that blinded Bill for a moment and led to Sophia hitting him in the shoulder with her sword slashing him quite badly. She would hold his hand alongside Sophia as he died, and once he passed away she would take Myctism from his body and leave the ruins of Orleans for her next stop in the Valley of Lucerne.
Hermione Granger is a POV character for a chapter of the End of Darkness, a chapter in the Rise of Lucerne, and a significant portion of the School of Magi and it is through Hermione that we learn most of the inner workings of the Hogwarts region. As the onl POV character from the Hogwarts region outside of Harry Potter she is the main character of the Hogwarts theater of the story thus making her departure all the more critical. In the first chapter of Westros we see that Hermione is a major POV character as she travels throughout Europe eventually landing in Orleans.
- "Born into poverty her life should have went the way all poor women's lives went. She should have married a farmer's son, and lived her life being a farmers wife, but instead she was born with Magi powers. That Magi brought her into a world that she couldn't have ever imagined she'd be."

- "Hogwarts was a magical place in every sence of the word. Run by people who seemed to truly care about the ones they were leading it created a world that wasn't filled with the inequalities I had grown to feel were normal back in Lorraine."

Hermione Granger enjoyed her years as a pupil at Hogwarts, and took assignments, classes, and school rules very seriously. Her favourite subject was initially Charms, and later Arithmancy, and the only areas of study that gave her trouble were Flying and Divination. Some students, such as Terry Boot, wondered why Hermione was sorted into Gryffindor house rather than Ravenclaw, given her keen mind. Hermione admitted that the Sorting Hat did consider putting her in Ravenclaw. Being sorted into Gryffindor, Hermione would share a dormitory with Lavender Brown, Parvati Patil, Fay Dunbar and another girl. During these extremely early days she kept mainly to herself as she was seen by many to be of such intelligance that it was annoying to be around. She was emotionally hurt by this as she didn't mean to be a snob and she honestly didn't want to come off as one.

Hermione Granger, Harry Potter, and Ron Weezly were not always the the Triumverate that they would become and in the the beginning it took many close encounters for the three to finally become as close as they have. They would first meet on the train ride from the capital where the students of Hogwarts would first prepare for their departure, and it was on this train ride that the dynamics of the beginning of the group would begin. While Ron, and Harry started off as friends and Harry was always polite to Hermione there was an almost bitterness between Ron and Hermione due to Rons behavior which was caused by him finding many things difficult due to his lack of natural intelligence on their level. Hermione Granger attached herself to Harry and Ron, following them around and trying to prevent them from breaking school rules and getting into trouble. The friendship between the three was solidified when, on Halloween during their first year, the three were forced to confront a mountain troll, that had been set loose in Hogwarts in the earliest attempt on Harry's life. Unaware that a troll was on the loose in the school, Hermione had spent that day crying in the girls' bathroom after overhearing Ron making unkind comments about her. The troll made its way into the bathroom she was in, and Harry and Ron came to her rescue, and proseeded to fight the Troll. None of the three had any experiance fighting anything of that magnitude so the fight was extremely chaotic with the Troll nearly killing the group several times, but their quick thinking kept them alive. As the fight looked to be going against them Ron was picked up by the Troll who prepared to kill Ron, but before he could Harry stabbed it through the foot with a wooden post, and the Troll fell over from this. With the troll falling on its stomach Harry climbed on its back and shot it behind the head where Hermione screamed to him it had weak armor. With the troll lying dead the group stayed quiet for several minutes as Harry checked on his two friends, and though they didn't know it the Triumverate would be formed by these moments. When Professors Minerva McGonagall, Severus Snape, and Quirinus Quirrell arrived at the scene, Hermione covered for the boys, claiming she was fighting the troll because she had thought that she could fight one, having read a great deal about them, and that Ron and Harry had merely come to help her escape. From that point on, the three students were best friends.
On one night, she followed them as they were leaving Gryffindor Tower to duel Draco Malfoy. Unknown to Harry and Ron was the fact that Draco was too afraid to challenge them and because of this he had gone to Argus Filch and told him that Harry and Ron were going to the third floor to cause mayhem. When they arrived at the dueling spot they were spotted by Argus Filch of whom demanded to know what they were doing up there and before he could say anything else they bolted away from him and ran upstairs. They were chased by Argus Filch, acting on a tip off by Malfoy, into the third floor corridor — forbidden to students — where they came face-to-face with Fluffy, a three-headed dog belonging to Hagrid. Later on, she argued that her spying was to their benefit when she pointed out the dog had been standing on a trap door, which Harry and Ron had not noticed. After using Magi to cause the dog to fall asleep they moved the god again with Magi before descending into the trap door. After going through the trapdoor, a long drop led to a chamber filled with Devil's Snare, planted by the Herbology teacher, Professor Sprout. The Devil's Snare was designed to entangle and suffocate any intruders, especially quickly the more the intruder attempts to escape. As the Snare is sensitive to heat and light, Hermione used a charm that created a jet of Bluebell flames to free Ron. As they attempted to turn back a Magi wall appeared behind them leading to them having no choice but to go down.
A downward sloping passage led to another chamber filled with flying keys, charmed by Professor Flitwick. A large wooden door led to another chamber. The door would not open with the use of any charm such as Alohomora, one needed the correct key to get through. To pass, one had to use the broomstick provided to catch the correct key. However, once airborne, the other keys will try and attack the pursuer. The group attempted to ride broomsticks which were on the ground in order to reach the keys but they continued to fail at this until finally Harry was able to reach the top of the room and made a death defying jump in order to reach the correct key, and then survived the jump after Hermione slowed his fall with Magi. When the group finally managed to get the key and get into the next room a man in a dark robe appeared in front of them, and while this man throughout the conversation to follow would remain anonymous in truth it was an apparition of Tom Malfoy. When they attempted to raise their wands against him he disarmed the group and proceeded to tell them a story.
The man would proceede to tell them that story before making them perfectly aware of the fact that they were going to die, unless they did what he wanted and got him the stone. The three attempted to resist him, but he was far to powerful in that moment and they were pushed back again. With no hope the three agreed to his demands and told him that they would get him the stone. With this the man would pick up their wands and hand them back to the three before he pushed them through a door and into the next room.
The next chamber was dark and resembled a graveyard, it contained a Human Chess Game, enchanted by Professor McGonagall. To defeat the game, one had to play themselves across the board and checkmate the King according to the rules of Chess. One cannot simply walk across the board and pass, so an adequate knowledge of Wizard's Chess was needed to complete this task. Ron had come to love chess during his time at Hogwarts and was one of the best in the entire school so he was able to defeat the game quite easily, but on the checkmate move he was forced to sacrifice his player and this injured him, and with the entrance to the final room closing in front of them Hermione, and Harry were encouraged by Ron to leave him behind to find his own way out while they went through to the final stage.
The next obstacle guarding the Stone was a logical riddle set by Professor Snape, and entering the room Hermione, and Harry now alone without Ronald are left to enter what they know is the last obstacle to their goal. Before entering the room the two held each other for some a few minutes as Hermione had begun to shake uncontrollably out of fear, and Harry consoled her, and in this moment kissed her on the forehead another moment in the expanding chemistry between the two best friends. Upon entering the chamber, the doorway through which one entered was blocked by a purple flame. The other entry way leading to the Philosopher's Stone, was blocked with black flame. A table with seven bottle of differing shapes sat in the middle of the room. Each bottle contained a liquid, but the bottles were not labelled with their contents. Three were poison, two contained nettle wine, one contained a potion to safely traverse the black flame, and the last contained a potion that allowed passage back through the purple flames. The riddle, when properly worked out, revealed the contents of each bottle, and therefore which one was safe to drink to allow onward progress.
Hermione tells Harry that it is a test of logic and not magic wherein most wizards fail. She solves the puzzle, and at Harry's instruction, drinks the one that will allow her to head back through the purple flame, while Harry drinks the one to head into the black flame and into the final room, where he is surprised at who he sees. As Professor Quirrell presumably traveled through the chamber to reach the Mirror of Erised, he must have had to take the Black Fire Potion himself, and, as there was only enough potion for one person in the bottle, that would have used it all up. However, he may have taken some of the potion with him when he entered the chambers, and drunk that instead. Another possibility is that the bottles had had a Refilling Charm on them.
The final obstacle was the Mirror of Erised, designed and set by Albus Dumbledore and was designed with a major moral shield leading to those with moral failings to basically be unable to succeed at this test. The only way to obtain the stone was to look into the mirror, see yourself having it, but not using it. Most people would see themselves using it, such as turning things to gold, crafting Elixir of Life, or giving it to someone. It was at this moment that the man in the dark robe appeared again and this time he revealed himself as Proffesor Quirrell and told the three that he was unable to get the stone from the mirror, and the only person he believed that could was Harry Potter and it was for this reason that he had Draco Malfoy lure the three of them into the tunnel. Also appearing at this point are several others dressed in dark clothing wearing masks who support Quirrel, and while their identity would remain a mystery the people were in fact Draco Malfoy, Astoria Malfoy, Tobias Grundeven, and Charlotte Painsley of whom were there under orders from the Deatheaters leadership. Quirrell asks for help from his master to get the Stone, and a snake-like voice tells him to use the boy. Harry is told to look into the Mirror. Under threat Harry is forced to look into the mirror. He sees his reflection pull the Stone out of his pocket and put it back in, and Harry feels it drop into his own pocket. He lies to Quirrell about what he sees, telling him instead that he sees himself shaking hands with Dumbledore, after winning the House Cup for Gryffindor. The snake-like voice tells Quirrell Harry is lying and Quirrell takes his turban off to show Harry what lies on the back of his head. As Quirrell turns around, Harry is shocked to see another face where the back of Quirrell's head should be. The face has red eyes and a snake-like slit where the nose should be. Harry realises this is the face of whoever this Lord Voldemort is, and Voldemort demands Harry give him the Stone. Harry refuses and runs, but Quirrell seizes him. However, the contact with Harry's skin burns Quirrell and causes him to have boils all over the area in which Harry touched him. Harry grabs Quirrell's face, then his arm, and holds on, with the blinding pain in his head building, until he feels the arm wrenched away before he blacks out. He awakes in the hospital wing with Dumbledore there, telling him Quirrell did not succeed at getting the Stone, and indeed the Stone has been destroyed.
Conflict with Draco
During his early time in Hogwarts he was consistently approached by one Draco Malfoy who wished for Harry to leave the school. When it became clear that wasn't going to happen the two became bitter rivals and were in near constant conflict with eachother. In the days that came before the Basilisk Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy engaged in a duel which unkown to Harry caused the death of Harnia Trout of House Slytherin.
The European Magi Cup
They came here to destroy us. There was no need for diplomacy because both sides knew that the goal was annihilation, and no amount of words was going to change the Teutons minds. That was the saddest part for me. The knowledge that death was the only way this thing ended. Either they died...or we did.
The European Magi Cup
In their fourth year at Hogwarts Harry, his parents James and lilly Potter, the Weasley family (except Mrs. Weasley), and Hermione attended the Quidditch World Cup. At Stoatshead Hill, Edward Cullen and his best friend Hilary Swift, joined them. Once at the camp grounds, they met Ludo Bagman, Barty Crouch Sr. and his house-elf Winky, and many other Hogwarts students and their families, including Seamus Finnigan, Dean Thomas, Oliver Wood, and Draco Malfoy. They were able to see the match between the Kirin Tor, and Alcase teams up close, because Harry, the Weazly's, and Hermione had seats in the top box, thanks to a favour Mr. Weezly had done for Ludo Bagman. During the time watching the match Harry became silently jelous about the affection between Ron, and Hermione and this would be one of his first indications that their was something going on.
As his jelously roared its head at him, he left the group and wandered the outskirts of the stadium, and it was here that he sat for a time before he felt a body lay down in the grass beside him. WHen he looked at who it was it was Ginny Weezly the cute sister of his best friend Ron. He had never really gotten to know her since before she was quite young looking but she had grown up a lot in the time since he had seen her last, and now she was quite beautiful, and of this he took full notice. The two lay on the grass for the remaining time the games were on and they talked, before she leaned over and kissed him. The kiss didn't fufill him, or make him feel anything real but it was something, and for the emptiness that he felt he would take anything he could get. The lay their making out for a time before they were interupted by a cough and when Harry pulled away and looked over he saw Hermione looking at him with a look that on the surface was one that a best friend felt when they watched something like that happen but Harry thought that underneath that he could see a tinge of jelously.
The night after the match, while the Alcase's team's supporters were still celebrating, a group of black-cloaked, hooded figures held terrifying celebrations of their own by suspending the Muggle camp site manager and his family in air like twisted marionettes. On Mr. Weasley's orders, Harry fled into the woods near the camp site, along with Ron, Hermione, Fred, George, and Ginny. The group was separated in the woods, and in the chaos, Harry believed he had lost his wand. The trio ran into Draco Malfoy, and he all but told them that his father was among the cloaked wizards. Later, Harry learned that Barty Crouch Jr. had stolen his wand from his pocket. While in a clearing in the woods, Harry, Ron, and Hermione heard someone shout the incantation Morsmordre, casting the Dark Mark - a green skull with a snake protruding from its mouth like a tongue - into the sky. Although Harry did not immediately recognise its significance, he soon learned that the Dark Mark had evil implications. Then, Barty Crouch Sr., Amos Diggory, and other Ministry of Magic employees apparated into the clearing and began to question Harry, Ron, and Hermione about the Dark Mark. After Harry mentioned he had heard another voice conjure the Dark Mark, the Ministry employees searched the area and found the house-elf Winky unconscious in the bushes. Since Harry's wand was found in Winky's hand, Mr. Crouch fired her for shaming his family and disobeying his orders.

Goblet of Fire
Main Article : Triwizard Tournament
The Goblet of Fire would become the moment of divergence for the region of Hogwarts, and would bring about the destruction of the fake peace and the illusion was finally broken that Lord Voldermorte wanted peace for the lands of Hogwarts. Hermione was very close to Harry Potter so she was obviously very close to the forefront of the Civil War as the forces of Lord Voldermorte and the forces of Hogwarts silently battled it out for victory. The lives of Hermione Granger and the rest of the Triumverate were still at this point quite idealistic as most of the wizard world of Hogwarts had no idea that Tom Malfoy had become the sadistic man that he had become. The first strikes against the realm of Hogwarts would come silently and it would all begin during the normal event hosted in Hogwarts called the Triwizard Tournament. For Edward Cullen he was beginning to become homesick, while his friend Hilary was beyond just wanting to go home, she was crying nearly every night, and only the excuse of the Triwizard tournament brought them any kind of peace.
At the Hogwarts start of term feast, Professor Dumbledore announced that Hogwarts would host the Triwizard Tournament, a recently-revived inter-school competition in which the Beauxbatons Academy of Magi, the Kirin Tor, Nubian Academy of Magi, Magisterium of the Tevinter Empire, and the Durmstrang Institute would also participate. The Beauxbatons were a school tended to and trained from the greatest Magi that the Kingdom of Alcase could find, while Durmstrang was a secret Magi school hidden in Norway of northern Europe. The Kirin Tor was the Magi fortress and organization within the Kingdom of Lorderon, and the Kirin Tor sent the largest delegation led by Medivh. The delegation from Beauxbatons arrived in a large carriage pulled by Abraxan horses, and brought with them some thirty Magi, alongside some two hundred attendants. The delegation of Beauxbatons pupils was led by their Headmistress, Madam Olympe Maxime of whom had once trained at Hogwarts before using her long Numenorian lifespan to create the Beauxbatons Academy within Alcase. The Kirin Tor would arrive with some forty Magi and a force of some five hundred conventional forces, and would house themselves north of Hogwarts where they basically constructed a Magi tower that could store all their people. The Nubians would arrive following the Kirin Tor and had arrived via Magi boat which they had traveled west of France going north into Germania before travelling south down the Rhine River, and the Nubians only brought some twenty Magi, and a hundred retainers led by Hele Halone.
The Magisterium from the Tevinter Empire would come shortly following the Nubians and led by Calanthus Vyrantus they were the picture of nobility and honor of which was noted by all who saw them, and they came with some two hundred Magi, and nearly a thousand men at arms and retainers making them one of the largest groupings there. Shortly after their arrival, the delegation from Durmstrang, under the watchful eye of their High master Professor Igor Karkaroff, arrived in a magical ship that could travel underwater. A feast to welcome the new arrivals was held in the Great Hall, where Professor Dumbledore introduced the other Tournament judges - Bartemius Crouch Sr, Vonded Forden, and Ludo Bagman - to the assembled students. After explaining the rules of the Tournament, Dumbledore unveiled both the Goblet of Fire and the Triwizard Cup to the assembled groups. Students would have until the start of the Halloween Feast the following day to enter their names. In agreement with the new rules regarding underage students entering the Tournament, Dumbledore drew an Age Line around the Goblet of Fire, of which concluded that only those over the age of fiteen could enter their names into the Goblet of Fire.
Chosen as a Champion
During the Halloween Feast, Dumbledore presided over the selection of the Champions. Artem Belovich, from Durmstrang, was selected first, followed by Fleur Delacour of Beauxbatons. The Goblet selected Edward Cullen as the Hogwarts Champion, and Cerin Menathil was the only entree from the Kirin Tor and thus for this reason Cerin was selected easily by the Goblet of Fire. The All four Champions left the Great Hall to receive further instructions. To the surprise of everybody, the Goblet spat out a fifth name, as Barty Crouch Jr had intended. Harry Potter, like the rest of the school, was shocked to hear his name called, and went to join the other Champions. After a heated debate, during which Karkaroff and Maxime questioned the motives of Dumbledore and the Ministry, since Hogwarts now had two Champions, it became clear that Harry must participate. Despite his not having entered his own name in the Goblet, the fact that his name had been entered and selected by the Goblet constituted a magical contract that bound him to compete. Even his age was not a real issue; the Age Line was only an effort to stop unprepared students entering and being killed. Traditionally, students as young as Harry had been allowed to compete in the Tournament.
Despite the secrecy surrounding the Triwizard Tournament, Lord Voldemort found out about it from Bertha Jorkins, a Hogwarts Magi of whome had been holidaying in Westbridge and had run into Peter Pettigrew at an inn. Pettigrew brought her before Voldemort, who, using Dark Magi, extracted from her mind information concerning the Tournament. He also learned that one of his faithful servants, Barty Crouch Jr, was still alive and under the Imperius Curse at his father's home, and this would eventually lead to his freeing. Armed with this information, Voldemort set a plan into motion. He freed Crouch Jr from the Imperius Curse, and ordered him to disguise himself as Alastor Moody, Hogwarts' new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher. There, he would manipulate the Tournament as his Master commanded to achieve the Dark Lord's goal: the destruction of Harry Potter.
At some point, most likely during the night, Barty Crouch Jr, who was using Polyjuice Potion to pose as Professor Moody, bewitched the Goblet with a powerful Confundus Charm. He made the Goblet believe that there would be four schools entering the competition, then entered Harry Potter's name on a scrap of parchment under a false school name. Since no other entrant would be associated with the school, Harry's name was the only one that the Goblet could select. Thus because of this Harry was mysteriously chosen as a fourth competitor, even though he was under-age and never entered his name into the Goblet of Fire during the selection process. Many people did not believe Harry's story, including Ron believing this to be nothing but another attempt to gain fame. This caused extreme tension between the two friends. Hermione, on the other hand, "accepted his story without question," and assisted Harry in preparing for the Tournament by teaching him useful spells, such as the Summoning Charm, which Harry used in the first task of the Tournament. Besides the resentment that came from Ron for his enlistment, he also received a lot of backlash from the other students, who appeared unwilling to accept his story. Edward Cullen at this point was becoming very popular, as he was seen as Hogwarts true champion, and a generally nice guy. As Harry Potter became the subject of abuse his brother Neville attempted to stand up for him, but this only got him in more trouble and eventually Harry talked him into simply letting it go. It was during this time that Harry and Edward first came into becoming friends, as Edward didn't like the abuse he was taking, and tried desperately to get them to stop but Hilary convinced him to just keep his head down.
The First TaskThe First Task of the Triwizard Tournament took place on 24 November, and the objective was to retrieve a golden egg that was being guarded by a dragon - the egg would be located within a clutch of real dragon eggs. Using Sleeping Draughts, a team of wizards, including Charlie Weasley, transported nesting mothers of different breeds to Hogwarts from a dragon sanctuary in Croatia. The dragons were hidden in the Forbidden Forest to stop students from discovering them. However, despite the secrecy, the Champions became aware of the task that faced them. Rubeus Hagrid, a great lover of dragons, innocently invited Olympe Maxime to watch the dragons with him, unaware that she would tell her Champion, Fleur Delacour, about them. Harry Potter was also present, again at Hagrid's request, to see what was in store for him, hidden under his Invisibility Cloak. Igor Karkaroff sneaked into the Forest to discover what was being hidden, and told his Champion, Viktor Krum. Medivh would tell Cerin Menathil after Medivh watched the Dragons in his mind using spells he had left all around the hidden forest believing that would be where anything would be hidden. Even though Edward Cullen was not present, he was told about the dragons from Harry, who considered it unfair that Edward should be the only one of the Champions who had no clue what the First Task was. After lunch on the day of the First Task, the Champions assembled in a tent near the arena that had been built specifically for the Task. In the tent, they were informed of the task ahead by Barty Crouch Sr. and Ludo Bagman, who would also be acting as judges alongside Professor Dumbledore, Madame Maxime, and Professor Karkaroff. Each Champion was required to dip their hand into a bag that contained miniature replicas of the various dragons they would face, and pull one out. They would then face the real version in the arena. In addition, each miniature dragon had a small number hung around its neck, indicating which order they would face in.
Harry Potter drew the fiercest of them all, the Hungarian Horntail. On the advice of Crouch Jr (disguised as Professor Moody), he used a Summoning Charm to bring his Firebolt broomstick to him, and manoeuvred past the dragon to retrieve his egg. After the First Task, Harry and Viktor were tied for first place, with Edward, and Cerin tied for second, and Fleur in third. The champions were told that, the Golden egg they retrieved contained a clue on how to pass the Second Task. Without it, they had little chance of succeeding. After seeing how dangerous the task was, Ron, as well as the other students, made amends with Harry, with Ron telling him, "I reckon someone is trying to do you in." He managed to escape the first task with only an injured arm.
To prepare for the second task, Harry had to open the egg he won from the dragon, but every time he did, it screeched. His rescue from that particular problem came when Cedric paid him back with the information that he would figure it out if he "take[s] a bath" with the egg. Harry followed this advice; while in the bathroom, he had an uncomfortable exchange with Moaning Myrtle, and on the way back to the Common Room, he ran into Professors Snape and Moody. The latter informed Harry of Barty Crouch Sr's obsession with catching Dark Wizards. Harry did learn that the second task was going into the Black Lake to rescue "the thing they would miss most" from the Merpeople. Harry's new problem was that he had no idea of how to survive underwater for an hour. He got his answer in the form of gillyweed from Dobby, who had come to work at Hogwarts.
The Second Task
All five Champions assembled on the shore of the lake, and were told that they had one hour to retrieve that which had been stolen from them from the merpeople's village, and return. The Champions entered the water; Harry had to eat the gillyweed, which gave him gills to breathe underwater, and webbed hands and feet to allow him to swim faster. Both Fleur and Edward utilised the Bubble-Head Charm, while Viktor partially Transfigured himself into a shark. Cerin Menathil surrounded her entire body with a bubble and would move throughout in this protective shield. The five Champions headed through the lake to the village; although Fleur was forced to retire when she was attacked by grindylows. Harry reached the village first to find that the "item" that had been stolen from each Champion were people close to them. Placed in an enchanted sleep, then tied to the tail of a stone Merperson, were Harry's best friend, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, who had been Viktor's date to the Yule Ball, Edward's best friend Hilary Swift, and Fleur's younger sister, Gabrielle. Concerned for the safety of all the "hostages", Harry refused to just take Ron and go. Edward arrived shortly after and rescued Hilary, followed by Viktor. Viktor's partial Transfiguration had left him with the head of a shark, and he found it difficult to free Hermione. Harry passed him a sharp rock to cut her bonds with, then Viktor left carrying Hermione and headed for the surface. Cerin would wander the waters unable to find her way around as the Merpeople had become angry at her after she casually killed one of them, and surrounded her with mist leading to her wandering around for hours unable to know where she was. With no sign of Fleur, Harry made the decision to rescue the remaining hostages himself. Although the merpeople objected and tried to stop him, Harry managed to free himself, and dragged Ron, Perseiphone, and Gabrielle to the surface.
Back on shore, Harry learned from Ron that none of them had ever been in real danger, and that he should have just rescued him and got back as quickly as possible. Edward, the first Champion back, had arrived one minute outside of the one hour time limit, followed by Viktor in second place. Harry was third, and, because they did not finish Fleur, and Cerin were in last place. Despite finishing third, Merchieftainess Murcus informed Dumbledore that Harry arrived at the hostages first, and only his desire to see them all safe had stopped him from finishing first. After a conversation with his fellow judges, which included Percy Weasley deputising for the ill Mr. Crouch, it was decided that Harry, for showing moral fibre, would be awarded second place. Edward scored forty-seven points, Harry scored forty-five points, Viktor earned forty points, and Fleur and Cerin came last with twenty-five points. After the first two tasks, Harry and Edward were tied for first place, with Viktor second, with Cerin third, and Fleur fourth.
The Yule Ball
A month before the final task, the Champions were shown the beginnings of the challenge. They were told the third and final task was going into a maze filled with obstacles to find the Triwizard Cup. On the way back to the castle Krum took Harry aside to ask him something. Thinking that this was something important, Harry went with him. Krum then asked Harry about his relationship with Hermione, in whom Krum was deeply interested. Harry told him that there was nothing between him and Hermione and that she was just a friend, but by this point he knew he was lying to himself. Edward went to the Yule Ball with Hilary, and after dancing all night they returned to his room where they would kiss romantically, but as they parted they both laughed realizing for sure that they were only to be friends. Cerin Menathil, and Medivh would begin at this point to become aware of dark Magi permenating the air, as Lord Voldermorte had entered the area in secret, and Cerin and Medivh came to believe that the person was Harry Potter after hearing the eventual news that he was seen walking madly out of a room.
To prepare for the final task, Harry, Ron, and Hermione used vacant classrooms to practise spells and jinxes. In Divination class between two of these study periods, Harry dozed off dreaming about Voldemort and left the classroom in a disturbing fashion. Rita Skeeter had witnessed this event, and she wrote on the day of the final task, that Harry was disturbed and dangerous. This did nothing to boost Harry's morale, but when he spent the day with Bill and Molly Weasley, they cheered him up when they also came to watch the final task as his substitute family. As the training continued Harry would continue to see signs of darkness in Draco Malfoy, and finally with time to deal with this he would confront the Malfoy heir and the two engaged in a fight which almost led to Harry killing Draco. Leaving Draco broken and wounded on the ground of the bathroom he erased his memory and told noone of the event, while also not getting information from Draco this was a terrible moment for Harry.
The Final Task
On 24 June, the Third Task was to navigate a maze grown on the Hogwarts Quidditch pitch. The maze was populated by various obstacles and dangers that each Champion had to overcome. Crouch Jr, as Professor Moody, was entrusted with placing the Triwizard Cup at the centre of the maze. While doing this, he enchanted the Cup to be a Portkey that would be activated by touch, and thus sealed the fate of Harry of whom they planned to win this event. Edward and Harry, tying for first place after two tasks, were to enter the maze first, followed by Viktor, and then Cerin, before Fleur entered last. The first Champion to successfully navigate the maze and reach the Cup would be declared the winner.
During the task, Edward encountered a Blast-Ended Skrewt, which he barely escaped from, but was able to use his Magi to deflect the fire bolts it sent at him before he finally killed it. Harry had to deal with a Boggart in the form of a Dementor, and overcame an odd golden mist which turned things upside-down. Crouch Jr, however, was leaving nothing to chance. Using Moody's magical eye, he watched events unfold in the maze, keeping the more dangerous obstacles out of Harry's path, while making sure to severly target Cerin and Edward of whom he knew to be the greater targets of getting to the end first. He also Stunned Fleur by ambushing her with thousands of weeds of which surronded her and pulled her inside the bushes where she was knocked out for the remainder of the final task. As Viktor accidently neared the end of the maze Crouch Jr would place the Imperius Curse on Viktor, and begin to use him as his personal force. He used Viktor to attack Edward with the Cruciatus Curse in order to clear Harry's path to the Cup, but Viktor couldn't defeat him and only managed to push him back away from the maze entrance and towards another way in.
Cerin would come across Viktor next, and when Cerin begin to soundly beat up on Viktor Crouch Jr would intervene by sending dozens of Giant Spiders at her which distracted her long enough for Viktor to begin targeting her. Harry encountered the Blast-Ended Skrewt that had attacked Edward, then heard Cerin being tortured, and rescued her by Stunning Viktor. Cerin and Harry parted company, and Harry had to answer a riddle from a sphinx to continue on into the maze, while Cerin had been poisoned by the spider and fell into a coma before being pulled into the bushes and losing the match but becoming safe. Edward and Harry joined forces to defeat another Giant Spider of whom was so large it tore down pieces of the maze ironically making it easier for them to reach the end of the maze, and after defeating the spider they both arrived at the Cup together. After an argument over who deserved to win more, they decided to take the Cup together, since it would still be a Hogwarts victory. Touching the Cup at the same moment, they activated it as a Portkey, and were transported out of the maze and into the graveyard. Following closely behind them was Viktor of whom touched the Porkey minutes later also entering into graveyard where he would be released from the Imperius Curse once touching it.
The two had been transported to the graveyard in Little Hangleton, the Malfoy's family's final resting place, where Lord Voldemort was waiting. The two boys who had been on such a high from their success were now suddently in a graveyard surrounded by a series of robed men with clearly hostile intentions towards them. As the two wandered about the graveyard they were met with a loud shriek as Viktor would come through as well after following the residue left by the Porkey. As the three talked and learned that Viktor had been bewitched they became unsure if this was part of the tournament and this ws proven to them when Harry discovered the grave of a Malfoy. Tom Malfoy would appear alongside nearly a dozen of his deatheaters including Peter Petingrew, and would begin to berate Harry Potter for his stupidity. Edward of whome was the older of the two attempted to understand what was heppening but Tom Malfoy had no intention of entertaining Edward Cullen so he simply ignored him, and when he moved closer Viktor stood between them and Voldermorte struck him down with the killing curse. As Harry and Edward raised their wands Lord Voldermore would strike their wands away with Magi and then on his order, his servant Gragorix stunned Edward Cullen, and grabbed Harry.
When Harry saw Tom Malfoy at first he was shocked because he knew of this man, and he knew of the influence that Tom held. After watching them knock Edward Cullen uncontious he became horrified that someone of his power would be after Harry, and this led him to beg to understand what was happening. At this point Tom believed he had won and thus he took time to explain to Harry what his plans were, and told him of why he was being ambushed. Following this angry exchange Lord Voldermorte attacked Harry emotionally and the two had a heated argument before finally Tom raised his wand. Harry and Voldemort engaged in a brief duel, but their wand cores connected and created the effect known as Priori Incantatem, and the "echoes" of Voldemort's past victims emerged from Voldemort's wand. They helped Harry to escape from Voldemort by distracting the Dark Lord, giving him enough time to reach Edward Cullen's knocked out body and the diseased Viktor, then Summon the Portkey to him and return them to Hogwarts.
Returning to Hogwarts with Edward Cullen, and the corpse of Viktor, Harry was promptly whisked away from the crowds by Crouch Jr, still in the disguise of Professor Moody. While the assembled crowd learned what happened in the graveyard from the waking form of Edward Cullen, Hermione realised that something was amiss with Moody, since she believed that Moody would never have taken Harry away from the tragic scene. In his office, Crouch Jr started to question Harry on what had happened, and how it felt to stand in the Dark Lord's presence. Unnerved by Moody's seeming adoration of Voldemort - something that went against everything he knew about Moody - Harry was rescued by Hermione who in her panic at seeing Harry in any kind of danger had convinsed Professors Dumbledore, McGonagall, and Snape to follow her, and from the outside of the door they listened to the argument so that they knew for a fact that their was bad things going on. The effects of Crouch Jr's Polyjuice Potion wore off, since, in the excitement, he had neglected to take it at the proper time to maintain his cover. Crouch Jr was questioned under the effects of Veritaserum, and he revealed Lord Voldemort's plan to resurrect himself, and Crouch Jr's involvement in getting Harry to the graveyard.
Following his near death the entire order of Hogwarts decided that no longer could Harry Potter be exposed as publically as he was until the time came that Lord Voldermorte was truly defeated. In this way he along with his parents went into hiding in a farm that was known to only James, and Lilly Potter along with their most trusted friends which unfortunatly also included unknown to Harry the traitor Peter Pettigrew.

Look at me Hermione. No matter what happens here I know that you did beyond everything you could to do the best you could for your parents. The decisions and the evil of others is not on us. We can only choose our own path. Monsters move at their own will, and we can only do what we are capable of doing to stop them.
The Search for Hermione's Parents
It was during the lead up the the civil War in Hogwarts that the life of Hermione would become entrapped in the violence of the coming conflict as seeing how close Hermione was to the chosen one in Harry Potter Tom Malfoy would target her by ordering her death. The Death Eaters under Lord Voldermorte would stage the Night of Violence of which was a targeted assassination of leaders of the loyal elements of Hogwarts and spread throughout the entire kingdom as it killed hundreds, and it was under the cloud of this that they targeted Hermione and her parents. Believing through poor information that Hermione had left to see her parents following Harrys victory in the Goblet of Fire they were unaware that she was staying with Harry Potter and not her parents in Lorraine. When the death eaters arrived at her home they tortured her parents trying to find out information on her location but they resisted and were killed and thus unable to find her the Death Eaters left. When the night of violence finally ended Harry and Hermione attempted to find Ron but couldn't as he was hidden away with his family by members of the Hogwarts army as were most of the nobles, and thus unable to find Ron they went alone in an attempt to find Hermione's parents who they didn't know were already dead.
As they left the city of Hogwarts they would be met on the road by Draco Malfoy, and Astoria Malfoy of whom would laugh about the deaths during the Night of Violence and Draco would taunt Harry on being the only member of House Potter not in complete isolation out of fear. The four would come to blows with Draco and Astoria on the losing end of things, and Harry and Hermione would go to leave when Draco stopped them once more threatening to kill Harrys family for what had happened today. While Harry and Hermione returned to their horses in their journey to find her parents Draco and Astoria would return by Magi to the fortress of his family in the form of the Malfoy Estate just outside of Westbridge where they would demand to be involved on the destruction of House Malfoy but in a critical error they did not reveal the departure of Harry and Hermione.
As the two traveled to the small farm of her parents they traveled through the country side as to avoid being discovered and this was the first time of what would become almost every night where they would fall asleep together in an attempt to stay warm. It took them two days to reach her farm but when they did they could see the fire coming from the farm hours away. Hermione broke into a run when they saw the fire, and it was all Harry could do to keep up with her. When they arrived at the farm they saw that the house was burned down, but when there didn't appear to be any sign of bodies there was a brief hope that they survived the fire. This hope faded when they saw the bodies of her parents and their servants hanging from a tree in the back of their farm. After discovering the hanging bodies of her parents Hermione was overcome with grief and Harry and Hermione basically just lay against a tree for hours as she cried herself into Harry's shoulder. When she finally calmed down her emotional state caused her to kiss Harry and although they both quickly pulled back that was the moment between the two that their mindset changed. Hermione was emotionally exhausted and so she passed out, and while she was passed out, Harry got her parents, and servants bodies down from the tree and used his Magi to dig their graves and clean them up.
When Hermione woke she discovered Harry standing by the edge of the graves and she silently thanked him by kissing him. The two stood silently in front of the graves of her parents before they once again began kissing. This time it became more heated and it only stopped when Harry pulled back and stopped them. Hermione and Harry discussed that they had to find her brother before whoever had murdered her parents found him, and thus she stayed in place while Harry gathered a shirt that was her brothers from the farm and despite attempts to use Magi to find the shirts owner in her brother they were unable to. Following this failure Harry showed Hermione another piece of clothing he had found, and she used her Magi to discover its owner was a Death eater named Gragorix Lux of whom they immediately realized was the man responsible. With this knowledge the two packed themselves and headed towards the location of Gragorix Lux who was - according to their Magi tracking - in the town of Haris west of her parents farm, and guessing he was there searching for her brother there the two would immediately leave for Haris. It wasn't even a days walk so they arrived at Haris later that day they followed Hermione's Magi trail discover that Gragorix and his companions were in a tavern. While Hermione wanted to plan things out and ambush the deatheater it was Harry that saw Gragorix laughing through the window and barged into the tavern and begin threatening Gragorix.

Gragorix Lux wasn't a weak Magi and he believed that if he was able to kill Harry Potter or at the least capture him he would gain unimaginable power with Lord Voldermorte. One of the deatheaters with him attempted to stop him because he knew that only Lord Voldermorte would accept being the one to kill Harry, but as he stepped in front of Gragorix he was felt a knife stab him as Gragorix killed him. Gragorix having killed one of his own companions unleashed a barrage of spells at Harry which he deflected killing one of Gragorix's companions and knocking the other remaining companions unconscious but despite this deflection the Magi was so powerful that he would smash through the wall of the tavern. With Harry momentarily out of commission Hermione overcome with rage at the man who was involved in the killing of her parents attacked Gragorix. Hermione was no match for Gragorix and was struck with a table launched at her by Gragorix. Just as Gragorix was about to kill her Harry came to and returned inside where he surprised Gragorix by launching the killing curse at him, which instantly killed Gragorix. In this moment Harry had no time to actually think about the fact that he had used a killing curse instead of the hundreds of other spells he could have used as Hermione could be hurt. As Harry approached her she should have felt fear towards Harry since he just unleashed the killing curse but instead she was nearly overcome with lust and love for him, and only through her strongest will power did she not kiss him when he leaned down to pick her up.
Harry quickly picked up Hermione and while Harry yelled for everyone remaining in the tavern to leave immediately and with the last one having left he woke up the unconscious companion of Gragorix of whom revealed himself to be Gragorix Lux II. the son of Gragorix and interrogating the young man they would discover that Hermione's brother had succesfully fled Haris and fled to Hogwarts giving Hermione much relief that her brother lived. While Harry used Magi to tie up Gragorix the two heard yelling from outside and looking through the window Hermione saw several Deatheaters and nearly a half a dozen Deatheater men at arms and realizing there was no escape out of the tavern Harry prepared to fight and die there, but Hermione was unwilling to give up. Hermione would search through the belongings of Gragorix and his companions and discovered a small metal cube and realized that it was a Portkey. One of the Deatheaters charged into the tavern and Harry knocked him back with a spell, and at this Hermione cried out to him to touch the Portkey and trusting her Harry would touch the Portkey teleportation the two to the location of Gragorix's Portkey which turned out to be his personal estate. Finding themselves in Gragorix's house they were shocked by a large family laughing around a table and Harry pulled out a sword and demanded to know who they were and they revealed themselves as Gragorix's family including his three children. Gragorix's wife realized from the blood that they had stolen his Portkey and demanded to know what had happened to Gragorix and when Harry told him they had killed him for murdering Hermione's parents Gragorix wife would attack Harry forcing Harry to kill her when she refused to stop. Following her death the two would storm from the house stealing two horses from the stable and begin their ride from Gragorix's home back to Hogwarts. As the two rode back to Hogwarts Hermione understood far more then Harry did that things between the two had changed, and that when they got back her relationship with Ron would be tested like she never though it would be.

The End of House Potter
Main Article : House Potter
The disappearance of Harry Potter was something very noticeable as the conflict in Hogwarts continued to rage but the forces of Tom Malfoy were unaware of the disappearance as the loyalists attempted to hide his mission from all outsiders. Because they didn't know he had left the operation they had planned to kill him along with the rest of his house remained in place, and two days after Harry and Hermione left Tom and his forces massed for the attack on Bredin's Hollow. The Hollow was the hideout of nearly the entire House Potter, and for this reason it had major defenders with it, but the disaster would come when one of their members in Peter Pettigrew betrayed his best friends and turned to the side of Tom Malfoy. This betrayal meant that he lowered sections of the shield allowing the forces of Tom Malfoy to sneak inside the Hollow, and thus they silently went throughout the defenders and wiped them out.The members of House Potter not knowing that there defences were gone went about there time in the house and it was with shock that Tom Malfoy burst through the front door while they were eating and proceeded to kill the family. A few including Lilly Potter suvived the inital attack, and it was for these members that the worst would be done. Tom had the few men that surived executed on the spot but the women were brutalized in the worst ways until only Lilly survived. In her dying breath she mocked Tom's failings.
"You have failed in your mission Thomas...my son...lives on."
-Lilly PotterIt was in that moment that Tom understood that in his haste he hadn't noticed that Harry Potter wasn't one of the dead. With reinforcements from Hogwarts incoming Tom and his forces raced out of the house and left behind the ruins of House Potter. Inside the Potter estate lay the bodies of basically the entire family outside of the few that were not there at the time, but most importantly in the end was the fact that Harry Potter was not there as if he was there would have been no stopping the future end game of the insane Tom Malfoy.
As Hermione and Harry arrived in Hogwarts on the griphon they were met by Ron who they expected to be upset about being left behind but instead he simply silent gave Harry a hug before whispering in his ear that something terrible had happened.
"Harry you have to promise me that you won't do anything stupid once I tell you this because after everything thats happened you know I'll follow you, and after everything thats happened I have to believe were just not a match for him. What he did...Its something...I just can't fathom how someone could have so much hate in them."
When Harry promised that he wouldn't do anything stupid Ron told him that basically everyone in his family was dead, and that their massacre was the work of Tom Malfoy. As Harry begin to lose control, and begin openly saying that he would go after Tom he was reminded by Ron that he had promised and that between the three of them a promise meant everything. As Hermione attempted to hug him he became discusted with himself for what he felt he had done to Ron, and he recoiled before running into the woods nearbye where he was followed not by one of the Triumverate but instead he was followed silently into the woods by Ginny Weezly.
A Mistake in the Night
As he finnally slumped against a tree he silently hoped that Hermione would follow him, and that he could just hold her. Despire everything that had happened he wanted her. He wanted her with everything and when he felt a hand touch his shoulder, and then soft lips touch his lips he allowed his mind to ignore the red hair of Ginny Weezly and just believe in that moment that it was Hermione. The two became intimate, and with no restraints or thought of the future he allowed Ginny to believe as he continuesly said that he loved her to believe that he meant her and not Hermione. This would lead to many mistakes, and future problems but most of all it would lead to the fact that Ginny would always remember that moment and would from that point on believe that Harry loved her. As they finished and Harry realized the depths of the mistake that he had just made, he attempted to think of some way to fix things but their was nothing that he could think of the repair this. His family was gone. He had betrayed his two best friends by becoming intimate with Ginny, and falling in love with Hermione, and no matter what he tried he didn't think he could fix that. In that moment he looked at Ginny and where he was feeling dread, and dispair she had the look of pure happiness across her face, and he allowed himself for a moment to forget, and together they leaned against a tree and he wrapped her together with him in his cloak before they fell asleep together.

I know that you are preparing to fight. Your efforts are futile. You cannot fight me. I do not want to kill you. I have great respect for the teachers of Hogwarts. I do not want to spill magical blood. Give me Harry Potter, and none shall be harmed. Give me Harry Potter, and I shall leave the school untouched. Give me Harry Potter, and you will be rewarded. You have until midnight.
Battle of Hogwarts
Main Article : Battle of Hogwarts
Following the Night of Violence and the massacre of House Potter the forces of the Death Eaters had failed in their further attempts to anihilate the remainder of House Potter including extreme failures in the killings of Luna, and Sirius Potter of whom were basically undefended at a northern estate but had been rescued by Ron Weezly in the night. Following these failures and the return of Harry, and Ron to Hogwarts the Deatheaters were leaked that Harry had returned and brought their full forces to bear against Hogwarts in the form of hundreds of Deatheaters, and nearly four thousand men at arms against the defenders of Hogwarts who had not called on the vassals of Hogwarts and thus were low on foot soldiers but high on Magi fighters. Thus arriving and putting the city under siege they would realize that they could not hold their position for long and the only real form of diplomacy was Lord Voldermorte coming to the Hogwarts bridge and threatening the city if they did not release Harry Potter but he was rebuffed and thus true to his threats the Deatheaters would prepare their assault for the next day at mid-day. Very little diplomacy went between the two sides as following the Night of Violence it was very clear that the only purpose of the men of the Death Eaters was the destruction of the current members of Hogwarts that had not sided with them, and thus this left little room for haggling.
With the morning coming and going and the defenders unwilling to hand over Harry Potter and the other surviving members of House Potter Tom Malfoy would reluctantly be forced to launch the assault despite knowing that his forces were not capable of taking the city. With the forces of the Death Eaters being pushed back all across the lines but the losses mounting on both sides it was Harry Potter that would leave the battlements along with Ron where he moved to duel Lord Voldermorte in what he thought would end the siege. As the two approached Tom Malfoy who was in the middle of killing
Retreat of the Death Eaters
Following the defeat of Lord Voldermorte by Harry Potter and his near death, along with the arrival in the west by a relief force from outside forces the forces of the Death Eaters would nearly to a man rout into a full scale retreat.
Hogwarts War with The Empire

They came here to destroy us. There was no need for diplomacy because both sides knew that the goal was annihilation, and no amount of words was going to change the Teutons minds. That was the saddest part for me. The knowledge that death was the only way this thing ended. Either they died...or we did.
Following the Chaos that was the Hogwarts Civil War there was a brief period where there was peace in the region of Hogwarts. During this time under the leadership of the increasingly influential Harry Potter the city rebuilt itself, and the damage that the Malfoy's had done to the Republic was slowly repaired. But this peace lasted for less then a few months, and it became a moot point when Hogwarts begin receiving letters from the Empire asking for their surrender. This came as a shock as the two parties had usually shared a common interest, and that interest had been for mutual trade and never towards annexation but clearly something had changed. For Hogwarts they met this calls with returns saying that they were basically confused as to what had happened, and thus they wished to remain friends and trading partners but the response to this implied very clearly that the Empire wasn't going to let their aggression just go down and thus those inside Hogwarts reformed their defenses and prepared for the coming offensive.
On the Empire side of things they had been contacted by the forces of the Deatheaters and in this communication they had made deals with House Malfoy in order to destroy Hogwarts in order to facilitate better control of Hogwarts more northern region as well as promises of giving up the other independents around Hogwarts. It had begun with several trips by the servants of Lord Voldermorte to Nuln itself the capital of Austria and while at first Priam Troy deemed it unimportant to him he was alerted to the interest in Hogwarts by some of his more disloyal members of Austria and this brought him to the negotiating table. In the end he cared nothing for Hogwarts and thus made a deal relatively quickly, but in a fake gesture of kindness he placed most of his political enemies in charge of the actual military campaign and offered them nearly all the rewards that went along with it. The forces of Austria would cross the Urhine River near Pfeildorf, and as the armies assembled the divided leadership sent by Priam Troy found themselves supported in the region by basically no one as the entire region was very frightened of the Imperial movement against Hogwarts and several of these surrounding nations openly stated they were supportive to Hogwarts.Scouts that had been placed throughout the countryside begin reporting back to Hogwarts that a truly massive army was incoming towards the fortress in numbers in the hundreds of thousands. The Hogwarts ally in the Realm of Zelhinir would also send scouts into the fight led by two huntresses in the form of Syndel Winterdew, and Aethalas Coldwind of whom would be responsible for silently cutting down the scouting groups of the Empire army in order to blind them as much as possible to what they were walking into. The Empire commanders had ignored the defenses around the fortress of Tarherd and the fortress of Tinevarn was also ignored leaving the entirety of the Emperian army to make a near direct line towards the capital in Hogwarts. Believing that the army would first attempt to establish control of the region the defenses were prepared for the eventuality that they had more time to prepare but to their surprise the army made its way directly towards the fortress with only small splinters moving towards the mini castles scattered throughout the kingdom. Other then these forces the Empire also sent a large force under the command of Wilhem Delgougen of whom led a force of Austrians towards the Realm of Dale where they would attempt to take control of the northern farming lands, and the extremely valuable central mining grounds. When they were only a day away from the fortress they sent one last letter to Hogwarts basically stating that if they didn't surrender they would all die within the fortress, and to this letter Hogwarts simply burned it and did not respond. There was some debate within the fortress led by Edgar Hufflepuff of whom wished to surrender and take their chances, but eventually it was completely agreed upon that the Emperian army would not honor the surrender either way, and thus they were fighting to the death no matter what way they did things. The next day the army of the Empire arrived on the outskirts of Hogwarts and begin encircling the fortress. While the Empire was doing this Harry Potter led a large contingent of Dumbledore's army through the tunnels beneath the fortress, and they made their way behind the lines of the attackers. Severus Snape led the main tier of defenses at the massive bridge, while in the open fields of the western block the defenses were led by Albus Dumbledore, and Minerva Griffindor. A small relief force was sent northward from the large Hogwarts town of Holyhead, but the vast majority of Holyhead's forces were arrayed in Holyhead itself as it was threatened by a small army coming against it. The plan for Hogwarts was basically to use massive summoned creatures to block the attackers while the overwhelming Magi of the people was used against the basically exposed troops of the Empire. Damara Dodderidge the headmaster of House Griffindor would assemble a troop of forces as the attack was preparing to be launched against Hogwarts and moved this force into the neighboring nation of Dale of which was one of the most stalwart of Hogwart's allies and was going to come under some assault. The Empire's commanders present wanted to shell the fortress for two days before attacking and through this to wear down the defenders, but the overall commander in didn't think this necessary and simply ordered that the troops to move forward and mass the Hogwarts defenders.
Fall of Hogsmeade
The town of Hogsmeade was located just north of Hogwarts and located beneath it in terms of latitude it's taking was required before someone could take Hogwarts but problamatic in its defence was its nearly devoid level of fortifications. Placed in charge of the defence of Hogsmeade was Anders Hufflepuff of whom was joined by several other very influential members of Hogwarts in the hopeless defense of Hogsmeade meant more to damage the Emperian forces then actually hold the town. As the Empire forces arrived near Hogsmeade the town had been completely drained of population and the only remains in the town were some five hundred infantry from Hogwarts and nearly a hundred Magi. The Empire sent in some two thousand troops into Hogsmeade and these troops were able to quickly push the small Hogwarts forces out of the town, but they did take significant casualties after they were caught in several fire traps and acrurate archer fire from the buildings. Either way the forces of Hogwarts lost some sixty troops in the failed defence, but the Emperian forces lost nearly three hundred and eighty troops which was a drop in the bucket for what they had in total.
The Attack Begins
The Emperian army would halt itself in the ruins of Hogsmeade and unlike most of the north they did not devastate the town as they would use it as a staging point for their forward command while the main command remained north of Hogsmeade and ordered the battle from afar. In the west a small Emperian army assisted by a force moving in from Lorraine and western Austria would halt itself north of Holyhead and block it from being able to send assistance to Hogwarts as the main army moved against it. In the south it was the forces of Dale that were beating back the forces of Austria around Holyhead, and thus in the south the static nature meant that no reinforcements were going to be coming from either sides to the Hogwarts Battle.
The Western Field
The attack on the western field was always going to be the most numerous, and this had more to do with the fact that the commanders of the Empire believed so strongly in their superiority in numbers that the western field offered the largest of the attack avenues so thus the most troops were sent in. Alongside this large scale opening in the western front there was also the fact that the walls of the western section of Hogwarts were only a single tier while all the other sectors of Hogwarts were two tiers of walls, and in the case of the northern route there was three tiers of walls. Nearly fifty thousand troops were on this western side, and they prepared to attack in three waves with the first wave consisting of some 15,000 troops and this first wave was shockingly made up of most of the elite sections of the western army. In the defenses by this point Dumbledore, and the nearly two hundred Magi with him had summoned to them thousands of elemental creatures of which were hidden carefully in small crevasses throughout the fields thus concealing them from view and in this way they would create a massive shock value when they first appeared. Alongside the hundreds of Magi, and the thousands of Elemental also stood nearly four thousand regular troops of the Hogwarts Castle of which would defend the walls with arrows, and cauldrons but no one believed they could hold for long against such numbers. In command of the western attack would be Vaelin Troy a cousin of Priam Troy, and despite being known as a casual drunk and foolish in mind he was placed in charge of a large force of men at arms.
Lake Hogwarts expanded a large proportion of the eastern approach but there was a small series of locks, and islands that allowed the attackers to attempt an attack that of all the attacks would prove to be the most dangerous, and in the end the most devastating in terms of overall percentage lost. The Empire over the night had constructed hundreds of small boats which they would use to transport the force of some 14,000 in the first wave to the series of small island castles that dotted the lakes locks, while another force of 18,000 would make the attack on foot directly against the locks through the canals that were open to the ground. As an added attack angle a group of some 2,500 unarmored troops were prepared to swim to the first series of locks with the goal of being light skirmishers that would hopefully augment the attack, and would be armed by small equipment boats that would be sent along with the attack. The Empire forces would come at the river during the night, and they hoped that the night would provide additional cover but the Magi defenders would use illumination spells to light the sky once they knew the attack was underway and thus despite it being the pitch dark of night they could see all around them.
The Northern Bridge was a massive sixty foot wide bridge connecting the northern pass to the castle itself, and stretched for some six hundred feet with no cover. For this northern attack the forces of The Empire believed they had little chance of success and so Vaelin Troy placed in charge of the attack the noblemen Herdeck Ont of House Ont of whom were resisters to the direction of House Troy and had been a main source of Priam's ire.
The Suprise Attack
With the forces of The Empire being destroyed in the eastern locks, and massacred in the northern approach the overall commanders saw only one true opportunity and that was to throw all of their reserves into the battle on the western front which while being devestating for them casualties wise was the only one that they were even advancing into. But while they continued down this path of thought they could not see that the force led by Harry Potter and his friends was now only minutes away from their command base in the northern approach. The command base had been constructed beneath a hilltop which turned it into a valley, which they believed was a nice spot to conceal themselves but they didn't anticipate it would allow an enemy force to advance almost secretly to its outskirts. With the reserves spread throughout the region the commanders were defended by a small force of only some two thousand troops and by this point some of those had been sent to the northern approach to attempt to keep the defenders there locked down meaning there was only some 1,000 troops left in the command base to defend. Harry, Hermion, and Ron gathered themselves and their force and begin encircling the command base with their full force of some three hundred Magi, and they begin silently over the next few hours they each summoned elementals to them which brought their force to some two thousand meaning they were about to attack the command base with complete suprise and have the numbers advantage. Waiting till night Hermion, Harry, and Ron settled into the hilltop and laid together in what was perhaps one of the last moments that the Triumverate would ever have with complete trust and love for eachother. Together they talked about everything they had been through, and they promised themselves that when they were done they would try to just be students again.
The Massacre and Retreat
As night fell the Triumverate were awoken by Neville Longbottem of whome told them it was time. With this decleration the group made the sign that the time was now to attack and with this the entire force advanced over the hills and into the valley beneath. The Triumverate moved silently as did the rest of the force, and all around there was the bright hue of different colored elementals as the elementals followed their summoners into a massacre that would send reverberations throughout Europe, and lead to a further series of massacres that would prove to be a marking point in history. The group was able to reach the camp without any problem and they all silently took down any sentries that were present, and then once they were litterly touching the hundreds of tents they unleashed the elementals into the camp while the Magi waited on the outskirts and killed anyone able to escape the inforno of the elementals. Over the next few minutes the force of some 1,000 troops along with the nearly another 1,500 commanders, administrators, servents, and aristocrats were massacred leaving no survivors. With the command base annihilated they burned the remains to the ground to make sure everyone was dead before they then sent Magi messages to the defenders in Hogwarts that the command structure was gone.
Battle of Holyhead
In the south while the main force of Imperials was attacking Hogwarts the southern commander in Wilhem Delgougen was forced to consolidate his forces to move them all around Holyhead in order to keep the fighting in the south going as the forces of Dale had arrived in heavy numbers and had been joined by the Kingdom of Taledavia and together they had defeated the forces of the Empire in the south pushing them all towards Holyhead. Still besieging the city of Holyhead, Wilhem Delgougen did not understand he was now horribly outnumbered due to the work of Shindrell Icewing who had entered the conflict and had went about killing all the scouts of Wilhems army. The two kings of Dale arrived at Holyhead and on the understanding it was for diplomacy they would engage Wilhem in conversation and without scouts Wilhem while he was negotiating was surrounded to the north by the forces of Prince Talbot Grendren of Taledavia, and once this was finished King Bard Girion II. of Dale would let Wilhem know this and accepted the surrender of Wilhem of whom had know hope of victory following this.
Destruction of Greenshop
Following the destruction of The Empire Army, Dumbledore's army council quickly convened and decided that the Empire needed to understand that this sort of behavior would not be accepted. In order to do this they decided to destroy the city of Greenshop where the remenents of the army had retreated to, and reinforcements were now funelling into. A force of Magi led by Severus Snape would arrive at the outskirts of Greenshop as the massive army of The Empire was reasembling for another attack of which Hogwarts would not survive. Grouping together nearly a hundred Hogwarts Magi grouped their power together to asssist in the actual conjuring of the spell that would have dire cicumstances. The actualy spell would be cast by Severus Snape, and its effects would basically rip the entire city of Greenship into the sky and then it slowly turned into dust. Those who watched the destruction said that such destruction wasn't even believed to be possible, but what this had showed was how truly horrifying Magi could be when turned to the pursuit of destruction.
Complete and Unconditional Surrender
When news filtered in to the Empire's military command that Hogwarts had completely destroyed the city of Greenshop, there was extreme fear amongst all present. The loss of the nearly 110,000 person city was too much for Karl Franz, and led him to send a letter of unconditional surrender to Hogwarts.
This surrender was unprecedented in Empire History, and would be a source of great shame for many of the military elites in The Empire.

Breaking of the Triumverate
I love the both of you. You should have never made me pick. This should have never come to this.
The Triumverate while once being a friendship that looked like it could survive everything that went against it, the situation between Harry and Ron was growing barely controllable and this was only going to get worse with the growing romance of Harry and Hermione. With Harry and Hermione now involved in a full out love affair the two were taking more and risks in their attempt to be together. They began to go almost religiously to the forbidden forest and proceeded to make love in their hopeless pursuit of each other, and to fill the emptiness they both felt after the loss of basically there entire families. While this was happening Lavander Dumebledore of whom loved Ron was still stung over her rejected love for Ron and begin to hate Hermione for being the reason in her mind that she and Ron were not together. On this day though they would be caught by the increasingly dangerous fellow army member Lavander Dumbledore, who had followed the two into the forest. The situation didn't spiral completely out of control at first as luckily she confronted them while they were just kissing but Hermione quickly realized that Lavander was dangerous and because of this she pulled out her wand just in time to deflect a spell which then hit Harry full in the chest and knocked him backwards. Now distraught that Harry was hurt, and completely overcome with rage she unleashed a massive wave of spells at the mismatched Lavander who was beaten quite badly by the superior Hermione. Harry of whom had been knocked out by the ambush spell of Lavander would be carried by Hermion back to Hagrad's home where the two would patch him up leaving Lavander in the forest.Following the attack between Lavander, and Hermione, it would be Lavender who despite being badly injured would manage to get herself back to Hogwarts and she broke into Ron's shared dormitory room injuring several other Gryfindor students who tried to stop her. Finally infront of Ron she would once again tell Ron about the events of the attack and the fact that she had seen the two of them together, and once again she was disgusted when Ron didn't believer her and basically sent her away like a crazy person. With the situation between the triumverate standing in very bad shape, the time came for the three of them to come together and decide what they were going to do about the actual situation in Hogwarts after they learned of the taking of Tevinter by Lord Voldermorte. Despite the love the three shared for each other, the damage was quickly spreading into the core of the friendship and it was becoming a case that their was real hate brewing between Harry, and Ron. The Three planned to meet despite the hostility between Ron and Harry at their secret home in the fortress of Marni where no one can find them. Hermione following the three meeting would be approached by Ron of whom wanted to see her as they hadn't been alone together in weeks, and despite truly caring about Ron she rejected him and then left him saying they would talk again after they met at Marni. Following this she would go to see Harry to tell him that she loves him, and whatever happens between the three of them she will always love him. When she arrives the two as they always do lose themselves into each other, and make love. After they are done, she prepares to leave, but she sees Harry putting on a necklace and when she sees the necklace she recognizes the necklace as one of the Dead Grails. When he told her that Dumbledore had given him the necklace and said that Dumbledore said it was all that was left of his father's possessions she would nearly immediately run out of his room making excuses and make her way to the Hogwarts library. Hermione had read at the library a book called The Nefarion which has chronicled a terrible truth about three mythical items. The Nefarion told a story about a book, a sword, a ring, and a pendent that were the complete construction of the Dark Lord Sauron, in his quest to destroy the Numenorians. The book was the first of the three, and the book was so violent in the writings of the pages that anyone that read it became eventually lost in the same kind of madness. This book had passed down throughout the life of Europe, and had destroyed all that had read from it including its most recent reader in the form of Bill Lovie. The next was the sword which the book said had been taken in ancient times by a truly honorable Knight who recegnized its evil, and had sacrificed himself by killing himself on the sword, and then burying it in the mountain he had wandered into.
Confronting the Truth
Albus Dumbledore knew that eventually he would have to deal with what he had planned, and he knew the moment she had discovered his plan that the moment was upon him. He had first noticed the Nefarion was in her possesion when he sent Severus to look for it and he came back telling him that the book had been taken out by Hermione, and when he learned this he would come to understand it was just a matter of time until she discovered the truth. She stood in front of Dumbledore and they just waited for the other to talk before he finally stood up and walked towards her and placed his hand on her shoulder. He told her that he was sorry that Harry had to die, but it was necessary. The two would argue and he would explain to her that the only way to kill Voldermorte was to destroy the Horcrux that bonded him to this world. She begged to know why they couldn't destroy it some other way, and he said that the only thing that could destroy the horcrux was someone of the bloodline that bore its hatred into the world, and this particular time it had been the killing of the Potters meaning that the only one would be Harry Potter himself.
Realizing that as long as he had the pendant he was in danger because Voldermorte would want the pendant back so she knew what she had to do. Albus would attempt to stop her, and another argument broke out as she attacked him causing damage all over his office, and leading to a near breakdown on her part. During this breakdown he would unknowingly reveal to her that the ring was in the possession of the Alcasian noblewomen Leliana Orsinio which led her even during the argument to begin formulating her plan to save Harry. Unable to stop her or dissuade her from stopping him he allowed her to leave, and she went to her room and got Nefarion before heading to meet with the Triumvirate for what only she understood to be the last time.
The three engage first in a constructive conversation but it soon becomes about what Hermione is doing with Harry, and Ron forces her hand when he gives her one minute to decide between the two of the. Hermione in her heart knows that things have changed and she now wants Harry with everything in her but she can't hurt Ron in that moment so she just walks out. As she walks out Ron bolts at Harry and begins to strangle him. Harry loves Ron and refused to hurt him, so he basically doesn't fight back and the situation gets out of hand before Hermione uses a spell to teleport Ron out of the room and into Hogwarts Castle. Realizing that she just chose Harry she emotionally walks out of the room but is closely followed by Harry who begs her not to leave.
Harry Potter would catch up with Hermione and so overcome with feelings over what she now knew she would start kissing him and as they were getting more heated it was a shocking moment for the two of them as while the two were nearly sleeping together in the forest that had become their place they were shockingly found by a well aware Ginny Weezly of whom alerted the two to the fact that she knew about them. Hermione shocked by this would run off once again, and Harry left behind to deal with the damage would learn that Ginny was pregnant and had already gone to Sirius Potter and lied to him about their current engagement and the marriage had been sanctioned by Sirius and she had already spread it through her family as well. Realizing that she had spread it so far that it was going to be a political nightmare to end it Harry would delay her through lying and told her how excited he was, and after kissing he would make excuses and leave to go find Hermione. So early on in their pregnancy he would decide to lie for a time and try to run off with Hermione, and it would be with this in mind that he would find her outside of the forest packing her horse.
Harry and Hermione get into a long and very emotionally fight which leads to them making love outside of the fortress. Harry following this attempts with everything in him to make them be together now because in his heart he knows that he needs her, but as she starts to give in to him and they begin to kiss they are interrupted by Ron who steps from the shadows to reveal that he had clearly witnessed the entire thing. With the situation of the Triumverate now in shambles Hermione tells Harry that she's leaving for a time, and that when she returns they will be together one way or another. She said that she wanted his pendant so that she would have something of his, and without thinking about it Harry gave her the necklace.
Realizing it was never going to be possible leaving him she would give him one last passionate kiss before getting on her horse and riding away from the fortress leaving Harry behind.
For Lavander Dumebledore the fall of the Triumverate was of little interest to her but instead it was after Ron left her that something inside Lavander broke, and she found herself with a level of almost unimaginable angrier that she never thought possible. Finding herself this way she would walk away from the castle finding herself on the road when she would be stopped by Melia Chow of whom had witnessed the entire conversation and was now completely aware of the situation. Melia Chow was one of many silent supporters of House Malfoy in Hogwarts, and he saw this as a perfect opportunity to get in the good books of House Malfoy by turning someone so close to the dangerous Triumvirate. Watching from afar for as long as she had Melia would now move in and feed Lavander the words she wanted to hear, and further turned Lavander against Hermione, but also turned her against Harry of whom Mellia lied about in order to make Lavander angry with him as well.

Hermione Arrives in Alcase
Hermione would enter Alcase as the forces of the Kingdom Of Alcase were battling internal chaos forces led by one of the ruling house, but for her part she didn't see how truly dangerous the land was all she saw was the fact that she was separated from everything that she loved including Harry most of all. Upon their arrival at Strasburg they meet with Fleur Delacour of whom takes them to the Academy where they meet with the leadership of the Children of Harnene of whom Hermione tells them what she is after, and they initially state that they don`t know where the item she is looking for is, but she sees that Olympe Maxime is lying and begins getting upset which almost starts a fight but is stopped when the Children Council leaves the room to discuss. Returning from their discussion they reveal to Hermione that they will help her find the necklase if she allows two of their number to go with her in order to make sure that nothing hostile happens to the one who has the necklase, and she agrees despite not wanting so many people with her. Departing Strasburg with Fleur Delacour, and now five strong they head westward where she is still not told who has the necklace but is told that she will be introduced to the one who does and that person will decide. While on the road they begin to come across bodies and the signs of battle and at this Fleur Delacour reveals that the holder of the necklace was Leliana Orsinio of whom had left for the west with most of the Strasburg army in order to battle John Orsinio. Realizing she had to act quickly before Leliana Orsinio possibly was killed and lost the ring to the forces of evil that she might not be able to get the ring back from. Hermione, and the group would travel by horse for days, running their horses ragged until they discovered a large battlefield, and the camped army of Alcase. As the group waded through the thousands of bodies she wondered sadly whether she was too late, but when the group was taken in by several Alcase gaurds her hope rose.
Finding the Ring
She was immediately taken to a low level commander, and when she was cleared that she wasn't a member of the defeated forces of John Orsinio she asked to be taken to Leliana Orsinio, and the guards told her where she was, and she bolted towards the area. Finding her tent she barged in without any sort of notice, and the gaurds posted at the tent didn't react quick enough and she was inside the tent with Lelliana. Once inside the tent she used Magi to close to entrances, and block herself in with Leliana. Leliana immediatly went for her sword, and as she grabbed for it Hermione saw the ring on her finger, and dropped to her knees in happiness. Leliana at this point was beyond confused but she called out for aid, and she could hear the sounds of swords hitting against the tent but as soon as they hit the cloth the sword was pushed away, and no damage was caused. As the commotion outside got more out of hand and more and more gaurds tried to get in Johanas reached the area after hearing the alert, and attempted to charge his way through the tent to no avail.Leliana Orsinio : What sort of Magi is this?...Do you not speak women?
Hermione Granger : I speak...its just I never thought I'd actually find one of them. I just assumed he would have been two steps ahead of me...but you...your proof that I can save him.
Leliana Orsinio : Save who?
"Hermione Granger : Harry.
The two would proceede to talk and Hermione showed her the book profising the danger of the ring in her company, and after realizing that Hermione meant her no harm she lowered her sword and Hermione released the spell blocking the tent. As the spell went down Johanson barged through the cloth and crashed into the tent before getting up and picking Hermione up by the neck and nearly killing her before Leliana was able to get him to release her. The three would talk, and eventually Hermione would eventually get the ring, and told them thank you for their help, and she was sorry for everything that she had caused to them. As she got on her horse to leave and everyone said goodbye the sound of trumpets went off, and as she peered towards the sound she saw a massive dark cloud on the horizon.

Second Battle of Avricourt
Main Article : Battle of Avricourt
Following the destruction of the army of Chaos in the first battle of Avricourt the forces of John Orsinio had retreated, and everyone believed they would flee completely out of Alcase, but instead he regrouped the remaining chaos forces west of Avricourt. The army of Alcase was going to chase them down, but the distraction of Hermione Granger, and the fact that a larger force being led by the King in Fabin Von Orsinio meant that the Alcase forces were in the same position camped. John Orsinio had managed to gather a larger force then in the first battle, but did it at the cost of completely surrendering his original plan of long term raiding, and occupation of the lands of Alcase as he had brought every single soldier he had available to the battle. As Fabin Orsinio reached the area John Orsinio launched his assault on the camp of Leliana, and Johanson hoping to defeat that camped army before turning against the remaining force in Fabin's army. The force of John Orsinio would bring thousands of demons along with it further augmenting its numbers, and as it appeared over the hills near Avricourt the army of Johanas, and Leliana would marshal themselves to fight against the army of Chaos. Hermione seeing a chance to flee eastward would be given the blessing of Leliana to leave them and do what she had to do, and she was nearly going to leave before she realized Harry would not have wanted her to do that, and she turned around and followed Leliana into the right flank.
Remaining at the camp the camped army would prepare themselves for the charge, and Johanas would command the center of the force, while the left flank was commanded by Isabelle Hurnia, while the right flank was commanded by Leliana and she was joined there by Hermione. Seeing this from their vantage point the royal army of Fabin would make their way towards the valley beneath them but were several hours away, and thus wouldn't be able to affect the initial assault. As the Chaos forces smashed into the army the intial charge broke pieces of the army as the demons horrified them, and the mass charge nearly caused a retreat of the army. As the army wavered Hermione would summon a gigantic yellow bird that flew over the ranks of the army and gave them heart, and this somewhat steadied them.
As the fighting intensified John Orisinio watched from the ranks as Johanas Hawkes wiped his way through the ranks of the chaos center forces, and then watched the Alcase forces celebrate as Johanas killed a greater demon of Slanaash. Seeing momentum change against him despite his larger force John Orsinio would charge into the left flank where Isabelle Hurnia was fighting a losing fight against a large force, and he would engage her in a duel. Granted gifts by Slanaash John was beyond the fighting ability of Isabelle and he sliced her nearly in half before tossing her head into the Alcase ranks, and causing a near rout of the left flank. As the left flank collapsed John turned his forces from attacking the left flank to moving against the center and Johanas. On the right flank Hermione and Leliana killed their enemy one after another but there was always another, and so Hermione watched as Leliana broke from the front line and cut her way through the chaos ranks making her way towards a Chaos Magi. Fighting the Chaos Magi Hermione led a charge as well breaking the chaos forces attempting to surround Leliana and her force that had broke through, and the right flank begin to be pushed back towards the dueling Leliana and Magi. The Magi and Leliana would duel for many minutes, but the Magi found his spells constantly blocked by Hermione, and as it continued Leliana finally killed the Magi and broke the right flank of Chaos. With the death of the Magi the demons begin to lose form, and after a few minutes the demons of the Chaos Army had shifted out of the real world and back into the fade where they had been summoned from.
With both left flanks of the two armies being overwhelmed the two victorous flanks moved to the center and engaged the already desperate fighting in the center. John Orsinio seeing Johanas kill one of his few remaining friends, and perhaps the sole remaining person he trusted would charge at Johanas, and as he was overcome by anger and rage his god himself in Slanaash would change him from his human form into a Greater Demon of Slanaash and it was in this form that John Orsinio and Johanas Hawkes would battle. An extremely formidable fighter John was only able to hold off the charge of the now demonic John Orsinio and felt himself pushed back inch by inch. As he was knocked to the ground John would be smashed back from a bolt by Hermione Granger, and Bethany Hawkes of whom were able to keep John down while Johanas, and Leliana charged at him and struck him many times killing the demon and releasing John Orsinio. With John Orsinio dead, and the demons deforming the chaos forces were broken, and despite attempts by the other commanders of the army to hold them they would retreat away from the slaughter that was now ensueing on the chaos forces. By this point the cavalry of Fabin including the king himself had arrived and would charge into the retreating chaos forces wiping out the remaining parts of the army.

This right here is a line. If you cross that line my friend we are going to have issues. Stay away from Arnor. Leave it to its own devises and our two nations can have peace...If you threaten them, then I'm going to threaten you....It is that simple.
The Fall of Arnor
You told me about lines. I didnt want to cross the line. But here were are.
Austrian Invasion of Arnor
As the Empire invaded southward into Arnor the fortress of Krost was one of the areas they planned specifically against, and they would bring heavy artillery against the fort, alongside some ten thousand men at arms and two thousand knights would be sent under the command of Deiter Stroh of whom was a seasoned commander of whom was well aware of the skill of Liam and wasn't going to walk into a defeat as many previously had. Liam organized his defenses knowing they had to damage the artillery as best they could in the beginning or else their defenses would be greatly weakened, and for this he would array dozens of skirmishers in the trees before the army of the Empire was marching, and in the gaps large pits were constructed that would collapse when the siege machines passed over them. Deiter Stroh weakened much of this plan when he marched irregular troops first, and was well prepared for ambush from the trees and because of this the Arnorian skirmishers were heavily damaged and did little damage to the Empire army. The pits though were a different matter and they would destory upwards of half the siege machines in the Empire army while heavily delaying them as well as they filled them in so that they could keep moving.
Fall of Fornost
Marcel Lovie II. would lead the army of the Kingdom of Lucerne into the Second Arnor War as the vangaurd of the larger force that was being gathered by William Lovie III. Travelling through the lands of the Kingdom of Stor they used the tunnels of the Dwarves of Dun Garek in order to reach the besieged land, and they were joined by several hundred Dwarves of whom remained behind in Frostmore instead of heading to Fornost. Marcel Lovie II. would arrive to find the city completely surrounded by the forces of Austria and in this way he moved into the surrounding forest and awaited darkness.
Using the night as an ally he was able to get very close to the Empire army before they knew what was happening, and ambushing them while most of the army was either asleep or facing the wrong direction a brutal melee ensued. Marcel and Fredrick Clegane would cut their way through the army of the Empire with their personal elite gaurd and find the command structure of the army and Marcel defeated Driam taking him prisoner. With the defeat of Driam Troy the rest of the forces begin surrending, and Marcel would quickly send the prisoners southward towards Frostmore while he took Driam Troy into Fornost where his additional forces allowed Fornost to hold against the siegers all around them.
With the capture of Driam Troy Marcel and the other commanders attempted to use diplomacy to push The Empire back, but discovered none of their attempts were met by even communication. Realizing there would be no end to this fight and it would be fought to the last drop of blood Sif Hemsworth, and Marcel would come to the conclusion that they needed to hold at Frostmore where the defences were greater. Due to this plan Marcel would be influencial in keeping the royal family of House Hemsworth alive after he made them aware of the fact that the Empire forces had made threats of what would happen if they captured the members of House Hemsworth. The siege of Fornost would become even more dire and potentially disasterous when the illusive Priam Troy would arrive with a larger army and a clear thought of defeating Fornost through whatever means neccessary. With the knowldge that the city was going to fall he would lead his forces and some of the defending Arnor forces out of the doomed city and prepare to move to Frostmore where they would make their last stand. Marcel would do his best to console his cousin Natalie but was unable to convinse her to hide, and because of this he was forced to sadly say goodbye to his cousin who was so brave, and took Britney, and Lucie Lovie with him out of the city and southward towards Frostmore. Inside Fornost the defenders led by Sif Hemsworth remained resolute in dying in defence of the city, and they held the walls to the last man as the siegers led by Priam Troy broke through the walls in several areas. Charging through the gaps in the walls the defenders would initially attempt to hold the gaps, but overwhelming numbers forced them to retreat back to the keeps that lay within the city, and defend themselves from there. Falling one by one the keeps and strongpoints were no match for the unending armies of Austria, and thus the final stand was made at the Royal Fornost Palace.
Priam Troy stood with the army for the first time demanding for Driam Troy's return but Sif Hemsworth laughed at him from the walls lying that Driam was dead, and that only his body would be discovered by the Teutons. Priam instead of ordering the storming of the keep would bring forth catapults and ordered dead cows fired into the palace grounds and did this the entire day causing disease to spread amongs the Atlantians. As the Palace grounds were bombarded with disease the rest of the city was pacified and the many nobles unable to retreat southward were taken into their control, including several members of House Hemsworth. As the defenders of the palace died in their dozens Priam begin firing burning oil into the palace and so few were the gaurds that they were unable to combat the fire and it spread horribly throughout killing the remainder of the defenders. Sif Hemsworth and a handful of defenders opened the Palace gates and attempted to meet their end in honorable combat, but Priam Troy would fire on them with archers, and crossbowmen killing them before this could happen.
Britney Turns Away
As the army of Marcel Lovie retreated southward it was still filled with several thousand troops of the Order of the Black Numenorians led by Britney Hemsworth, and it would be this force that would dramatically change the outcome of the Battle of Frostmore. As they approached Frostmore she would be alerted by one her agents using one of the Magi Stones of Lucerne that the region of Lorderon had gone up in flame after discovering that Arthas Menathil was a chaos servent and was heading north with an army now no longer aligned with Lucerne. Realizing that no reinforcements were incoming she knew the fate of Arnor was sealed, but she also knew she needed time to get away, and thus she ordered her forces to sneak eastward during the night as they camped. Not alerting Marcel to the betrayal of Arthas Marcel was shocked in the morning when a quarter of his army was gone, but had no choice but to continue on to Frostmore. Britney took the entirety of her force as well as draining some of the defences of Frostmore and travelled eastward before travelling southward into Dun Garek where she and Lucie bid goodbye to Arnor and made their way southward to new horizons.
Last Stand of Marcel Lovie
As Marcel planned the defences of Frostmore alongside others he was horrified when the banners of the Empire of Valeria begin appearing on the western front, while The Empire's banners also begin appearing on the northern side of the fortress. Marcel upon all of these changes would make top priorty be the surival of as many of the Arnorian people as he could and they flooded southward into Dun Garek in increasing numbers as Frostmore turned into the last bastion of Arnor outside of Talheim. As the southern exit from Frostmore begin to be shut by the Valerians the remaining people inside Frostmore were forced to accept that they may be doomed, and Marcel did his best to quell the fear in the city, but it was as fear hit them that the Valerians struck against the western walls. The Valerians struck with hundreds of cultists, and more terrifying a few thousand demons struck the western walls and broke the moral of the defenders until Fredrick Clegane rallied them when he killed a larger demon. As the defenders rallied Fredick was struck by a black arrow killing him just as Marcel Lovie arrived to congratulate him on his turning of the tide. The defenders wanted to break and pull back but Marcel fought side by side on the western wall and held it for a time.
Marcel would arrange his forces into Frostmore following this because he was sent ravens by Arthas Menathil that his forces were incoming, and that he should remain there as the entire Lucernian army was only days away. As Frostmore was surrounded Marcel was confused as to where the relief was, but remained rresolute in following what he had been told, and for this reason he didn't retreat from Frostmore. The Valerians finally broke inside the walls, and he was told that The Empire forces had disaspeared from the north heading northward, and thus renewed that perhaps they were retreating in fear of the coming Lucerne army he fought with new passion in the defence of the city. As the city fell he defended the keep to the last, and was defeated in single combat by a Valerian man who had wings sprouting from his body and was just barely alive as he watched the forces of Valeria pull back. Marcel would wake up and find Arthas standing over him, but Arthas had completely given in to Chaos and would kill Marcel before desecrating his body and leaving the city.
Finding a Queen
Find my cousin Karl. Her survival keeps alive the dreams of a nation. Arnor must survive.
Finding a Queen
Following his arrival in Westbridge it would be Karl Donovan that would go north alongside Christopher Bell, and Hayden Percy in order to retrieve the bodies of Marcel Lovie and the other fallen members of the Kingdom of Lucerne. While Donovan was in Arnor he was given orders by William Lovie III. to attempt to find Natalie, and Tyse Hemsworth of whom had not been located and were believed to be in hiding in Arnor. In this act he would silently depart from the larger Lucernian army and move alongside Blanche Menathil and members of House Menathil into the city of Fornost which they infiltrated with ease due to the chaos of the situation. Once inside Fornost they discovered that there were mass executions happening and on top of that the Emperian forces were attempting to locate the Numenorians in the city, and especially the royal family. In a desperate search to find Natalie Portmane before the the Empire forces could they got lucky when they were tipped to her location by Atlantians who wanted the Queen to escape.
Finding Natalie hiding in a secret dungeon beneath Fornost, they would lead her out of the dungeon and the city with the help of a loyal Atlanitan scout. As they made their way into the forest Natalie was discovered by Empire Knights and in order to try and protect her son she led the knights away from the group and was captured. Karl would stay behind to see what happened and try and rescue Natalie and he would be present when Aldo Troy one of Priam Troy's nephew would put Natalie in chains taking her by horseback moving westward to which Karl and his group would begin following them at as close a distance as possible.
It was at this point that Hermione Granger would still be with the Valerian army as it ravages and destroys the lands of western Arnor capturing thousands and sending them back to Valeria where Kieth Schwartz tells her the Slanaash followers in the army are preparing a massive escalation of their violent excesses. Hermione Granger witnesses Kevin Zegers mask his appearance to diplomats sent from The Empire making them believe he is honorable and because of this the Empire does not intervene against his chaos forces allowing him the ability to return to Valeria and deal with his sister and her rebels. During this period following the ravaging of western Arnor by the Valerians it is Keven that makes a deal with Austrian diplomats that give much of western Arnor to Austria in return for not revealing the chaos elements within the Valerian army. Moving further westward Hermione is silently warned by Kieth Schwartz that things are going to get very violent once they get back to the core Valerian lands and if she wishes to leave then the time is nearly up for her to get away.
The next day she is woken in the middle of the night by Keith Schwartz of whom commands her to follow him and she does follow him into the forest where they ride for an hour before coming upon a grove where she sees Kevin Zegars and his command structure all standing around seemingly waiting for something. They wait there for another hour watching Kevin Zegars group and while there they eventually discover a group of Empire soldiers enter the grove and they escort a small group of chained and hooded figures of which when Kevin begins laughing maniacly they discover that one of the victoms is Natalie Portmane the Queen of Arnor. Seeing Natalie Portmane and remembering the kindess that she had been shown by William Lovie III. what seemed so long ago she almost goes to try and fight but is stopped by Kieth Schwartz of whom tells her that she won't survive and needs to escape so the Lucernians truly discover where Natalie is. The Dagger of Lost Souls
Selina Surion would finally catch up with Hermione Granger when she had awoken in Westbridge after her survival of Arnor, and Selina would wait a few days before she confronted the girl she had been waiting so long to discuss things with. Alongside Hermione Granger, Selina Surion would travel into the Riverlands where they needed to track down a dagger in order to further their plans to gather the Dead Grails. Finding information that Kren Scarlet had obtained a dagger that matched the description the two would find him in order to obtain the dagger. The two would find him a wealthy and powerful noble, and following him for weeks Selina would come to greatly admire Kren and had a serious affection for the young man. During this time Hermione would come to explain some of her love for Harry and the fact that basically all of this while important to the continent in an unimaginable way was actually for her more about the survival of her beloved Harry Potter. Selina came to tell her of how she was one of the last of what was once a thriving Numenorian community in the lands Austria (she lied as she didn't completely trust anyone to know where her family was located) and in giving away their secrets they grew quite close. Around this time Hermione begin to feel an ominious cloud overtaken the city of Hearthglen, and she and Selina both became aware that something dark had entered the city, and that it was not a coincidence that it had arrived at the same time as they had. Realizing they needed to move quickly Hermione was able to use the Cloak of Neverune to allow her and Selina to enter the keep of Hearthglen where they would come to look for where the dagger was hidden by Kren.
As they prepared to take the knife from him at night they watched as several black robed men infiltrated his keep. Watching the men from afar they were shocked into action when the assassins would murder an old man that was wandering the halls of the keep doing his tasks. Coming out of their hiding spot they would gain on the assasins and just reach the room when the two attempted to kill Kren. Defending him against the assassins he awoke and used the dagger to mind control the assassins into stopping attacking him. He used the dagger on Hermione, and Selina as well and from their initial anwsers and the fact that they were defending him he became convinsed of their innocense. Using the dagger further he was able to discover that the assassins had been sent by the Order of the Raven after Ravenholdt signed an alliance with Mordor, and one of their first tasks was to derail the attempts to gather the Deathly Grails. The assasins revealed to them that the Order of the Raven had sent hundreds of its finest throughout the continent in order to try and find the Grails, and that the two in the Riverlands were only a small drop in the bucket to the numbers that were on the move. As they continued to gain more information they were halted by a third assassin who appeared in the window and killed the two assassins with throwing knives before escaping out the window, and after they chased him across the roofs of the keep he too got away after he committed suicide by jumping from the top of a tower into the ground.
Following the death of the third assasin they would return to the home of Kren Scarlet and find his uncle Darion Scarlet had arrived in the city, and that they needed to leave, but that Kren would meet them east of the city in the small Holdfast of Poppen Hold. Hermione and Selina would leave Hearthglen as he said, and arrived at Poppen Hold where they found it the personal keep of Kren Scarlet, and they were admitted entrance after a raven had arrived from Kren saying they were his friends. When they were preparing for sleep they were stopped by the Captain of the Gaurd of Poppen Hold in the form of Ser Wilfryd Willot of whom took them into the dungeons where they met with the dungeon master of whom showed them a captive who they quickly realized from his atire was a member of the Order of the Raven. They were unable to speak to him as the Captain said that he had been commanded to keep the prisoner away from everyone until he arrived. Hermione, and Selina would wait as patiently as possible for two days, and Hermione was preparing to storm the dungeon to torture the Black Raven when Kren Scarlet arrived at the castle and accompanied them into the dungeon.
Kren Scarlet would use the dagger to force the Black Raven to reveal information to him, and learned quickly the man was Petar of Weerhousen, and had been a member of the Ravens since before Ezio's civil war nearly destroyed it. Kren was able to learn that the device that Petar had brought with him was a sort of Palantir of which leached the light, and good from the area around it due to the fact that Sauron was able to see through it. Krens was able to destroy the device through the assistence of Petar, and once it was destroyed he learned that it was used to corupt the holder of the device, and it was linked to a necklase he still wore. Destroying the necklase he was revealed to be an honorable man that was being menipulated by the necklase and didn't remember anything since the day he had put the necklase on. Kren would leave Petar in the dungeon while the three went to his personal quarters and discussed the next move. Hermione was reluctant to reveal anything but Kren made her painfully aware that she would need him and the dagger before everything was done, and thus she revealed that she was now going to head for the next Dead Grail of which was Elder Wand and was present in the lands of Albion or England.
