The Kingdom of Antiva is a large kingdom within the Empire of Tevinter and occupying the mountainsous southern section of the Empire. The Kingdom of Antiva is led by House Folwyn of whom was in its majority quite honorable, but Clary Folwyn was a dark girl that had sided with Volermorte secretly. The Kingdom of Antiva is one of the wealthier regions of the Empire of Tevinter as there is a large supply of mines in the mountains that the Kingdom occupies, and this coupled with its large population make Antiva a bedrock of the Empire of Tevinter. The Kingdom of Antiva is dominated by the worship of the Dragon of which has stayed in power despite the Chantry of Tevinter becoming the widespread belief system held in the Empire itself, and the Kingdom of Antiva has a massive Dragonoph Temple in their capital of Bastion. The Kingdom of Antiva is dominated by the Franks, but there is a large population of Atlantians that remain from the time that Antiva was a loyal member of Arnor, and unlike many other places these Atlantians are not targeted for reprisals or hatred, and this has remained throughout its history.

House Folwyn, and then by extension the Kingdom of Antiva was coverted to the Dragonoph religion during the years following the rise of the Prophet Ysgramor, and this makes them unique in that most central Europeans Franks are either Christian, or Sigmarite. House Folwyn, and once again by extension the Kingdom of Antiva has placed a very large part of its purpose in the expansion of the belief of the Dragon, and this has meant they have built Temples all throughout Tevinter, and their Dragon Temple of Bastion is one of the largest Dragonoph Temples in Europe. There is a sizeable presence of the Tevinter Chantry within the Kingdom of Antiva, as the Magisters and the Chantry have long feared the spread of Dragonoph, and because of this they have done much work in building the Churches of the Chantry throughout the Kingdom of Antiva and specifically within Bastion where the largest church stands near the Great Temple of Bastion in obvious conflict.

The Kingdom of Antiva is ruled over by the King of Bastion, of whom is the heridetary leader of House Folwyn, and rules from the capital of Bastion. The Kingdom of Bastion has several important locations of which the two largest are ruled over by princes in the form of House Dotred of whom rules over Valabanchel of which is a large prison complex, and House Croken of whom rules over the massive fortress of Ostrogar of which occupies the only true method of entering the Antiva Valley where the majority of the population lies. The King of Bastion rules with a nearly independant hand, but in terms of the Empire itself he must attend certain meetings with the Magisters, and alongside this he is oath bound to send troops to war if the Magisters deem this to be of importance.

The Kingdom of Antiva is dominated by the Franks, but there is a large population of Atlantians that remain from the time that Antiva was a loyal member of Arnor, and unlike many other places these Atlantians are not targeted for reprisals or hatred, and this has remained throughout its history. The Franks first entered the Antiva Mountains during the breakup of the Kingdom of Allemia and they would swiftly grow to dominate the land under the leadership of House Folwyn, and this led to a dramatic rise in the immigration of Franks to this region and the Kingdom of Antiva. The Atlantians of Antiva are concentrated within the fortress of Ostrogar, and the area around this meaning they are often the first of the people you find when entering the Valley of Antiva, and this has also meant they are the first struck when war comes to Antiva.

House Folwyn was founded during the tail end of the Empire of Numeron where they were placed as a local garrison command structure for the region now known as Antiva. House Folwyn remained loyal to Arnor for generations, but as Arnor collapsed so to did House Folwyn leave Arnor, where it became independant for many generations until it was taken over by the growing Empire of Tevinter. House Folwyn would become embroiled in the Lucerne-Tevinter War as they were on the border with the now Lucernian backed independants of Thedas, and Antiva alongside House Folwyn would fight for Tevinter until it became apparent they were going to lose, and then the King would go to the Voice of whom was actually Edward Cullen and attempted to sign an alliance. The alliance failed when Clary Folwyn told Lord Voldermorte, and the King and several of his family were murdered within Castle Folwyn by Deatheaters, and following this Aldric would become King, but his oldest son, and daughter were taken by Lord Voldermote as hostages to ensure House Folwyn's loyalty.

Jace Folwyn has one sibling in the form of Francis Folwyn of whom was a loyal member of the Kingom of Antiva and led the Antiva Royal Gaurd for most of his life and then was murdered during the Antiva Coup alongside many other Folwyns. Jase Folwyn would come to marry Jocelyn Folwyn on his sixteen birthday, and his marriage to her was happy after early struggles due to her discovering his hatred for the Empire of Tevinter, and she would be at his side when he was betrayed and she was murdered alongside him. Jace Folwyn has five children with his wife Jocelyn in the form of Aldric, Alexandrine, Clary, Sabine, and Basile Folwyn of which his son Aldric Folwyn is one of the most beloved members of the Kingdom of Antiva but fled the Antiva court after the Coup of Antiva, his daughter Alexandrine has married Orell Cousland of whom is the heir to the throne of the Kingdom of Vantiva the ancient relatives of the Folwyn family, his daughter Clary was a disliked member of the family but became hated in Antiva when she led the Coup of Antiva alongside her cousin and eventually was in the room when her immediate family was attacked, his daugter Sabine is the Folwyn`s personal hostage in the Tevinter capital and hasn`t been seen in Antiva for years, while his son Basile is squring for Orell Cousland in Vantiva.

Jase Folwyn was born the firstborn child of his father the previous King of Antiva, and during his youth he was sent to the capital of Tevinter after a disagreement with the capital forced them to use him as a hostage to avoid war. During his time in the capital he came to despise the Magisters, and found the Tevinter Chantry to be beyond redemption, and despite these feelings he hid himself well enough that he was honored during several tournaments, and was even knighted by the ruling Senechron of the day. His father would arrange a marriage with Joecelyn during this time, and then when he was sixteen he was allowed to return to Antiva due to the percieved loyalty he held for the Empire. Returning to Antiva he and his wife started off terribly as she was from Neromenia and thus was a more loyalist member of Tevtiner then he was, and this led to her nearly telling on him, but she didn`t after she discovered she was pregnant and didn`t want to cause harm to her child in the process. Following the birth of his second child Alexandrine Folwyn he watched his father assasinated by the young King of Neromenia and this sparked a brief war between Antiva, and Neromenia which only ended when the Tevinter Royal army arrived and stopped the fighting.

Mayen Folwyn
is the son of Francis, and Daria Folwyn making him a member of and following his betrayal of his family he became the Patriarch of House Folwyn, and the King of Antiva. Mayen Folwyn has no siblings and his birth caused serious harm to his mother which led to the main reason behind his father`s hatred towards him. Mayen Folwyn is married to Lauralye Folwyn of whom he loved deeply but his paranoia made him believe she was having an affair with Aldric Folwyn which eventually led to his part in the Coup of Antiva.

Mayen Folwyn was born the first and only child of Francis, and Daria Folwyn of which his birth was extremely noteable as it nearly caused the death of Daria, and even though she recovered she was not able to have children anymore. This birth would lead to Mayen being hated by his father for most of his childhood, but as time wore on his father saw the error of his ways and tried to make things better even squring Mayen under him, but the damage was basically done as Mayen longed to get revenge against his father for all the years of outright cruel behavior towards him. Mayen Folwyn would be married to Lauralye Folwyn of whom was a beautiful lady from the rich lands of eastern Fereldran, and Mayen fell deeply in love with her. Mayen would begin to believe though in his jelousy that his cousin Aldric Folwyn was having an affair with his wife, and this led to his hatred of his cousin, as well as his growing bitterness towards his wife of whom also was unable to give him a child until after Mayen believed the affair with Aldric had begun. Mayen Folwyn would become influencial in Antiva when his cousin Clary discovered his bitterness, and used this to make him hate Aldric Folwyn, and this led to him becoming the figurehead of the Antiva Coup which would come to pass. Mayen Folwyn would be at the side of Lord Voldermorte during the Antiva Coup, and was personally responsible for killing Aldric`s wife, and his oldest daughter during the massacre in Bastion.

Princes of Antiva

The Princes of Antiva are the heridetary rulers of the two most important locations in Antiva behind Bastion in the form of Valabanchel, and Ostrogar. The Prince of Valabanchel is the Lord and Master of the large prison of Valabanchel that was founded following the fall of Antiva to the Empire of Tevinter, and has come to house the most dangerous of the Empire of Tevinter`s criminals, and for this reason it is on an island, and fortified by elite Magisters, and a prison force large enough to defend it. The Prince of Ostrogar gaurds the only true entrance into the Valley of Antiva, and because of this they are of immesuable value as they can block the entrance of any force into the valley, or by that same hand they could open the door to an enemy wishing to enter the Kingdom of Antiva.

Following this he was made the Prince of Valabanchel and he was extremely harsh on the prisoners to the point that years into his rulership they rebelled again in what many called a planned riot of which resulted in the deaths of nearly half the inmates and very few of the prison gaurds. Ulledan following this became increasingly more interested in killing the prisoners then actually holding them for their sentence, and it became well known that if you wanted a prisoner to die then you sent them to Valabanchel where increasingly kingdoms outside of the Empire of Tevinter were sending prisoners to basically die in Valabanchel. Ulledan Dotred was kept apart from the Rebellion in Antiva, but following the Antiva Coup he became heavily involved as the death of his best friend sent him over the edge, and he rebelled from Tevinter causing the siege of Valabanchel.
