Nurgle is a First Generation Titan of whom was once a Noble Titan created by the Old Ones in order to control the diseases of the world, but he fell to Chaos and is now one of the six Prime Chaos Gods. He is titled the Great Lord of Decay and represents pestilence, disease, and physical corruption. Of the five Chaos Gods he is said to be the most attentive and involved with the plight of mortals. Nurgle has one sibling in the form of Ares of whom he was extremely close with but the two became mortal enemies following the fall of Nurgle.
Nurgle created the Asurans and cared for them extremely deeply, but when he was corupted he he forgot everything about them as in secret he didn't want to harm them.
All Chaos Gods are embodiments of the hopes, fears and other emotions and concepts generated by mortals. In Nurgle's case, the source of power is the mortal fear of inevitable death and disease, and their unconscious response to that fear, which is the motivating power that drives the lives of mortals. Nurgle's main enemy is Tzeentch, the Lord of Change, as the two draw their power from opposing sources. Tzeentch is hope and changing fortune, while Nurgle is defiance born of despair and hopelessness. Nurgle's sacred number is seven. His symbol is the tripartite fly - often rendered as three spheres arranged in a triangle.
Nurgle is also known by the names Neiglen, Onogal and Nurglitch, derived from his Dark Tongue name of Nurgleth. Human Chaos Marauders call him Lord of Flies or the Plague Crow.
Coming of the Old Ones
You look around you and see life. That was because of them. Everything you have is because of them.
The Old Ones had used the Lizardmen in order to administer much of what they knew was neccessary for the planet, but as time went by their schedules determined that they needed to leave the planet. The Old Ones knew their time on Earth would have to end but they wanted to make sure their world would be watched over. In order to leave behind something that would protect, guide, and further advance the denizens of the Earth. In order to do this they decided to create extremely powerful creations that would look over different areas based on the planet. The Old Ones created different Titans for different purposes, and with every piece of the lives of the mortals below looked after the world would advance in peace. The Titans would be given amazing powers that were nearly limitless within the region of Magi they also created called the Fade. Within the Fade they gave the Titans birth, and from this the Titans would become the vessels of the future goals of the Old Ones long after they would eventually leave the planet.
The Fade and the Titans
We were supposed to protect this world. Not leave it in darkness.
Creation of the Fade
In order to construct most of the world the Old Ones had turned from science, and their own massive technology and had instead allowed their Slann to control the process by which the planet took its changing form. The Slann used untold Magi to shift continents, changing environments and many other things all with the use of their primitive Magi over the vast technology of the Old Ones. Because the Old ones had used so much Magi on the world the traces of it were sucked into a realm called the Fade, and left to fester under the protection of the Old Ones. With the Old Ones leaving they needed one of their Titans to protect and control the Fade.
The Old Ones Leave
There are just no words to describe how beautiful things were before they left.
With the safeguards believed to be in place the Old Ones, begin disassembling many of their cities on the Earth. This process was obviously to make sure the advanced nature of the Old Ones wasn't allowed to seep into the growth of the races of Earth, and the Titans were allowed to control this growth as per their creation. The process of taking apart their cities was one that they had done on an innumerable amount of occasions and because of this they were able to deconstruct their cities in a very short amount of time. With their cities gone, the Old Ones packed into their ships and set out into space to their next destination with little understanding of the emotional catastrophe they left behind due to their importance among the Lizardmen. With the Old Ones gone their favored race in the Lizardmen was initially shocked and in disarray as to what to do with themselves, but as the Old Ones knew they would the Slann took control of the situation and led the Lizardmen towards the path of enlightenment where they would act as the stewards of the planet. Other then the Lizardmen the only real effect that their departure had was that with them gone, their was no one truly watching the Titans and their successes and failures and because of this lack of attention the true fate of the Old One Tek would come into play.
As with all the other worlds the Old Ones had left behind without the Old Ones interference though the Titans should have simply been able to deflect any internal corruption through their internal device that made sure they never deviated from their assigned tasks but with the manipulation of Tek in place the entire scenario was made dramatically different. When the Old Ones had taken their leave they took Tek's clone with them, and Tek was left in his facility which was extremely deep inside an Old One facility on Iceland and had complete control over the entire facility. In the facility he watched as the world became the beautiful place that the Old Ones had wanted and he thus became extremely bitter that their plan was working. He went about finding a way to destablize the situation in his off minutes and it was in this time that he formulated the devise which would menipulate Tzeneech into coruption.
Creation of the Asurans
The Asurans are known as one of the Elder Races and were created by Nurgle one of the Major members of the Titans. Nugle formed them in the mountainous area of western France, and they dominated this area and grew to become the most technologically advanced of the early Elder Races.
Nurgle would during this time begun to feel a sort of secretive feeling towards his Asurans and thus found himself constructing for the Asurans a massive secret fortress in the form of Rata Pten of which all knowledge he would keep from his siblings and under the leadership of the Asurans themselves the construction would give them a home not known by any of the Titans including eventually himself. Following the end of the construction he would begin to be whispered to by the Chaos corrupted Tzeneech and with the fear of destroying his own creation he would have his Asuran councillers use Magi on him that made his memory of the fortress completely disappear. With his knowledge of the fortress gone he would spend years constructing another series of smaller weaker cities for a new group of Asurans to inhabit of which he spoke of often as it was all he remembered, and it would be in this smaller group that would eventually face the wrath of the Chaos Gods.
Corruption of the Titans
All it took was one of them turning his back on his creator for me to truly see the depths of their depravity. My brethren had created them and things like them a million times and each time they had smiled with an arrogance built on the foundation that these Titans were perfect creations. I would show them how much their foundation was built on nothing. I would let them see the truth of this perfection.
Corruption of Tzeneech
As with most stories the time of the Titans being fully unified would end when a single member of their number in the form of Tzeneech the God of Magic, and sorcery managed to destroy his protective shield. This meant that he existed without any shield against greed, corruption, or hate. These feelings did not come all at once but it was a slow corruption as the protection left him until eventually he became the First of the Chaos Gods. It was purely the work of Tek that the ability to destroy his protective shield was created when the fallen Old One Tek begin his experimentation on the Titans. Tek believed that the Titans created an imbalance in the world and the only way to make the world into its natural state was to make the Titans act naturally. In order to do this he used his unimaginable technology to enter the Fade which was the domain of Tzeneech and while in the Fade he spread a kind of virus into the Fade which seeped into Tzeneech and placed questions into the Titan's mind. The virus allowed Tzeneech to understand the emotions that were supposed to be inhibited by his shield, and with these emotions he was able to destroy the shield completely which then led to these emotions spreading. This would begin to take its affect on him in the form of his corruption unknowingly of his child of sorts in Sethe of whom was the closest to him and thus the one that begin to feel the most of his increasingly wild emotions. Due to the increasing corruption of Sethe Tzeneech would begin to feel a sort of nationalistic mindset towards his Arakhora but when this was resisted by the returning Anzu, and Terokk of whom had been away on the Earth expanding the homelands of the burgeoning Arakhora population on the Earth. Tzeneech would turn his back on the two resisting members of his children in the form of Anzu, and Terokk and openly question their love of him, and this caused Sethe to turn against them beginning the Arakhora Civil War.
Spread of the Corruption
With the coruption spreading and an increasing amount of Titans becoming corupted there would be the first casualty of the conflict when the First Generation Titan Jupiter was approached by Malekor, and Tzeneech. Attempting to have Jupiter remove her shield would backfire dramatically when Jupiter resisted the two Chaos Titans and a fight broke out between the three. Jupiter had lost her shield through her proximity to the Woses but her corruption was to become increasingly noble, and seeking justice which would lead to her inability to negotiate with the two more powerful Titans instead simply attacking them and nearly killing Tzeneech but eventually she was unable to fight both and thus the fight led to the death of Jupiter of whom was over matched by the two more violent Titans.
The Eternity War
I'm sure beasts had fought before we sparked the Eternity War, but it wasn't until we got into their heads that the mortals truly understood the level of depravity they were capable of. We caused all of it.
The Eternity War
Main Article : Eternity War
The start of the Eternity War would begin with the corruption of the Trolloc of whom changed from their industrious, and noble ways when they interacted with the now corrupted Chaos God Khorne. At this time in history the Noble Titans were being torn in half but they didn't yet know that this was happening so they watched unknown as the Trolloc were corrupted by the Chaos God Khorne . Khorne offered their leaders great power in return for their loyalty to his beliefs. The Trolloc leaders knew nothing of this kind of evil, so they accepted his offer as genuine, and this would lead to their downfall and the downfall of the peace in Europe. With Khorne now in their midst he changed their peaceful culture into one of utter decadence and violence. The strongest rose to the top, and of all of these the strongest was the legendary Trolloc Mazrak of whom fell from being a priest of Elune before the corruption to becoming a mindless creature of violence. Mazrak would embroil the Trolloc into a massive civil war which would eventually lead to the complete control of the Trolloc Empire into the hands of Mazrak and by extension Chaos.
During the early stages of the Eternity War the forces of Chaos would also target the loyalist Argonian forces of Ind which had spread quite rapidly across Ind and were a real threat to the Chaos forces of the Charr if the fighting got intense in Cathay against the Murloc, and Furbolg. Thus in order to defeat the forces of the Argonians and make sure that the Murlocs of Cathay, and Furbolg would be fighting alone against the Charr it would be Slanaash, and Malekor who would convince Nurgle to destroy the Argonians with his diseases. Crafting the disease he would unleash it into the swamps of Ind and the Argonians would be devastated by the disease throughout the entirety of the Eternity War and during this time despite the best efforts of Hist nothing could be done to stop the ravages of the disease which was being spread by Nurgle. Hist in his desperation to save his people went to Nurgle and found him during his conversations to be completely callous and devoid of the laughter and humor that Nurgle had once been known for, and thus unable to get assistance from Nurgle the once dominant population of Argonians in Ind was completely wiped out leaving them dominant on the islands around Argonia only.
The War Begins
The Eternity war was the first true conflict of Chaos, and it single highhandedly destroyed the three largest empires in Europe, and left the land ripe for the colonization of the Dwarves, and Elves, and later the Human race. As the Trolloc had become corrupted by the Chaos God Khorne the other Empire's of the world along with the Titans became aware of this change but thought it a different matter then the betrayal of Khorne. The Murloc, and the Woses continued on their peaceful path but unknown to them the Trollocs had been corupted by the God that created them in Khorne. Khorne had turned them to his service and instead of trade the Trollocs begin fashioning massive cities for the construction of huge armies with which to conquer Europe. From these cities they silently built these armies and then prepared to launch a massive suprise invasion of the Woses, and the Murlocs. As the cities of the Trollocs grew to incredible size the Noble Titans became fully aware that something had changed but were duty bound to not interfere, and instead believed that they could assist the nobler races by creating more races into the world. During this time the last of the creations of the Titans would enter the world of which some were the Trolls, and the Draenie. All the Titans did not sit idle during this time as many felt they needed to intervene and several Titans including Aphrodite, and Motrin engaged in an arming of the Woses so that they would survive the Eternity War. Also Neperune of whom created the Murloc was unstoppable as he openly engaged in assistance for his creation. In the years directly preceding the Eternity War the Woses would be dealt a harsh blow when their benefactor in the form of Jupiter would be killed by Khorne, and Tzeenech after she resisted their words of Chaos, and without Jupiter the Woses religion somewhat collapsed for a time leading them astray at exactly the moment they needed faith the most.
The initial invasion was devastating to the Woses, and the Murlocs but the Murlocs were especially damaged by the conflict as they were less prepared then the Woses due to their being the weakest of the three races individually. During this initial onslaught with the corruption of the Titan Nurgle the forces of the Asura would also join the Trolloc and attack the forces of the Woses and Murlocs but were noticeably not putting forth their entire forces. City by city the Chaos honored forces of the Trolloc overran the world and left the Murloc and Woses devastated in their wake. Eventually after centuries of fighting the Woses had lost a significant portion of their empire and began to lose the war, and defeat was only a matter of time. Following this it is said that the Woses made a deal with a Tree Spirit of whom came to their leadership saying that he would help them win the war if they would swear themselves to do a debt for the spirit once the war was done. This Tree Spirit was in fact the spirit of Malekor hidden in plain sight, whom wanted to undermine the efforts of Tzeneech and Khorne and assisted the Woses in defeating the Trolloc. With the assistance of the spirit of Malekor and his forces helping the Woses began to turn the tide back in their favor. With the spirits help they finally managed to take the fight to the Trolloc's part of the forest, and in a titanic battle the Woses destroyed the remaining Trolloc in a massive battle at the edge of the Drueden Forest. During this battle the forces of the Asura would also turn against the Trolloc and their betrayal of the Trolloc would cause the routing of an entire flank of the battle leading to the disastrous defeat and eventually Khorne cursing the Asurans. Following this victory Malekor's forces were unstoppable as he alongside the Woses and remaining Murloc pushed the Trolloc all the way back to their massive cities. It was in the cities that Malekor would create massive spells that literally destroyed the area of the cities and left the Trolloc in a state of destruction. The surviving Trolloc would flee to the forests, where they became nomadic, and their inner soul filled with fear of creating cities by the design of Malekor.
Invasion of Albion
Following the invasion of the Trollocs into Albion it would be Ingri, alongside her son Lahmfada that would lead the forces of Albion during the Eternity War and throughout the conflict they fought at the forefront of the fighting and despite constantly warning Zeus her lover that the Chaos Titans were heavily involved she was ignored and eventually she was killed by Khorne of whom engaged her near Helms Deep.
Titan Civil War
Main Article : Titan Civil War
We were meant to protect this world, not destroy it.
Following the Eternity War the time of hiding the existence of evil within the Titan's ranks was over, and in such a brief time the two sides met in the Fade and the Titans attempted to understand the purpose of this group. Khorne's outright violent outburts during the Eternity War and the moral failings of many other Titans had made this secret known, and in this way Zeus summoned several of the missing Titans to the fortress of Olympus where he would speak with them in order to find out what was happening. The meeting took place between Zeus, Ares, and Neperune on the noble side of things while Malekor, Slanaash, and Tzeenech arrived for Chaos and as they arrived it was almost clear from the beggining that things had changed as the once High Elven form of Slanaash had changed dramatically, while Tzeenech as well barely resembled his host race in the Arakhora. Despite these obvious physical changes Zeus would attempt to discuss the matters but they came to quickly understand due to Slanaash revealing it to them that Khorne, Nurgle and many others were now barely capable of containing their personal rage, and when Slanaash openly threatened the life of Neperune Zues would send Malekor, Slanaash, and Tzeenech away in horror at what they had become.
The first blow came when the violent Trolloc of Khorne attacked the Titan homeland of Olympas in a massive battle that caused the deaths of many Titans and several of the more bloodthirsty of the Chaos Gods. Khorne would amass to himself a massive force of Trolloc and without the consideration of overall goals he would recruit several other Chaos Titans including Laran, and two of Khornes sons and together they smashed through the lightly defended Emerald Gate massacring the unprepared Titans within, and nearly reaching the Palace of Olympus but they were halted by a stiff resistance put up by Neperune, and Yor. Following this resistance Khorne would be pushed out of the city by the arrival of Ares who was able to battle him to beyond the Emerald Gate but Laran and the two sons of Khorne were not as lucky both being killed alongside nearly the entire Trolloc army. As the siege of Olympas went on the forces of the other main Chaos Gods found themselves free to do what they wanted as Khorne was basically on his own holding the Titans in place. Nurlge joined the siege and brought his large forces to bear against the fortress of Tarterus where he besieged the massive fortress and put a large amount of fear in the Titans that their rear would be vulerable due to the fall of Tarterus.
The Coruption of the Fubolg
As the forces of Chaos had expanded, and their control of the area around Olympus grew they had attempted to corrupt Ursonoc one of the more powerful of the Noble Titans, and one of the more noteable Noble Titans not within Olympus. Tzeneech went to Timbermaw Hold alongside Slanaash and the two attempted to convinse him to remove his shield through the use of every manner of Magi, persuasion that they could possibly think of, but found that Ursonoc was discusted by the betrayal that Tzeneech spoke of. Tzeneech realizing that he couldn't convinse Ursonoc attempted to destroy him, and thus would battle him within the palace of Timbermaw. The three would fight for hours, and as it went on Tzeneech summoned to him Triton who also attempted to defeat Ursonoc, but Ursonoc was soon joined by his children including his most celebrated child in Vogun. Vogun would manage to turn the tide against Tzeneech who was forced to flee the fortress of Timbermaw. As Tzeneech fled the city alongside Triton and Slanaash he would poison the mind of Vogun.
With his poison running in Vogun, the son of Ursonoc found himself filled with jealously over the fact that he felt his father didn't respect his power. As this built up in the days of the actual Titan Civil War the father and son of Ursonoc, and Vogun fought side by side but as they returned to Kalimdor to rearm their forces Vogun's madness would finally bring everything crashing down. Vogun would ambush Ursonoc while he was supposed to be gaurding him in his meditation and would destroy the powerful Titan. Vogun would blame the death on Zeus, and through this took control of a large part of the Fubolg army and brought it through into the Fade. Once into the Fade they would destroy a large section of the western palace region of Olympas where they believed Ursonoc was in complete control of. This attack would only be stopped when Poseiden himself entered the fray and battled Vogun nearly killing him. Defeated Vogun would not retreat and instead sent the remainder of his forces towards the main Chaos force so they would survive and then charged the walls of Olympas where it is said he died pierced by thousands of arrows as he screamed out for Zeus to face him.
First Siege of Tarterus
For Malekor the time to do some real damage to the Titans was now and he found the perfect oppurtunity when the Titan Neperune snuck out of Olympas on a mission to stop Nurgle from destroying the powerful fortress Tarterus which held in place the weaker section of Olympas from being able to be attacked. Malekor watched and hunted the young Titan as he led his powerful Murloc forces towards the Army of Nurgle. Neperune caught Nurgle unaware and was nearing the Chaos God himself when his army was blindsided by Melekor's massive Draenei forces. There was no escape for Neperune and he and his entire army were destroyed on the field which left one of the most important commanders in the Titan army dead and a sizeable portion of the army in tatters. The Twin Titans Morkha, and Ghorka had rallied there forces when Neperune had left Tarterus and by this point they were outside the walls of Tarterus and witnessing the defeat of Neperune they would move their forces within augmenting the defences.
Ghorka, and Morkha would fight during the Battle of Olympus where they defended the walls alongside their personal Greenskin forces and their children and it was during this fighting that Ghorka would be killed by their fellow First Generation Titan brothers in the form of the fallen Hyperion, and Hynos of whom infiltrated the fortress of the Crystal Spire and killed Ghorka, and Morka alongside several of their children.
With Neperune, and the twin Titans in Ghorka and Morkha dead the defenders of Tarterus lost their most important defenders and a sizeable force so the thought by them was very much that they were in serious trouble. With a weak spot appearing Slanaash brought his mighty Elven forces to bear against the fortress alongside Nurgle, and Malekor's forces and as the walls of the fortress appeared ready to collapse the defenders were saved by the arrival of Imperius who brought his gleaming knights and was able to defeat Nurgle in combat causing the retreat of his forces and the momentary ending of the seige. By the time the Chaos forces had regrouped the defenses had been trippled and the fortress of Tarterus appeared unshakable.
Duel with TzeneechAs the siege of Tarterus and Olympas wore on the first Chaos God in Tzeneech wandered the battlefield attempting to find an outlet for his aggression following his failure against Ursonoc, and as he wiped town after town off the map of the Fade he was finally confronted by Ares the God of War for the Titans. Ares was beyond skilled, and he led his army of mysterious creatures against the forces of Tzeneech. The two fought battle after battle but each time Ares came out victorious despite the massive numbers advantage that Tzeneech had. This begin to irritate Tzeneech to no end, and thus he brought all of his forces to bear against Ares forces in what would be a massive battle over the town of Elis. As the two sides met the forces of Tzeneech outnumbered the strange army of Ares by nearly 15-1 but when the dust settled after the initial assault the forces of Tzeneech had been badly damaged, and the defenders were barely injured. As his forces begin to waver the Chaos God Tzeneech himself entered the battle and taunted the mighty Ares to fight him on the field. The two gods battled their way through the opposing armies until they were face to face, and when they met they immediatly begin fighting. The two were equally matched but as Tzeneech watched his army desinigrated around him as the forces of Ares massacred his army. After days of fighting Ares stepped back and laughed at Tzeneech, and when Tzeneech looked around he realized that his army was destroyed and he was now completely surrounded. Ares prepared to deliver the death blow but the massively powerful Tzeneech teleported himself to his personal lair leaving Ares without his complete victory but he had destroyed one of the largest forces that the forces of Chaos had.
Second Siege of Tarterus
Coruption of Hypnos
Hypnos would fight for the forces of the Noble Titans during the Titan Civil War, and fought bravely alongside his daughter Hypnia during the initial assault on Olympus, but during the Second Siege of Tarterus he was captured by the forces of Chaos and corupted.
Attack on Diamond Gate
Neru brought his forces to fortress capital of Olympas where all the Titans had been born, and by this point the fortress of Tarterus had fallen and all that was left was Olympas and a few other fortresses, and Khorne had been fighting over and over in attempts to break the siege but each time the defenders were saved by the intervention of Poseidan, Ares, and Zeus of whom stood resolute on the walls of Olympas, and its magical Diamond Gate. At this point with stalemate setting in Slanaash went to Neru one more time and decided to have Neru move against the Diamond Gate with his massive forces, and use the Magi of his people to break the Diamond Gates. It's unknown if Slanaash believed this was possible but Kargoth now believes that he did this as a means of killing another of the Chaos Gods for his enjoyment, and hates him because of it. Neru would listen and alongside several other Demi-Titans would move against the Diamond Gate. Kargoth, Neru, and the Djinn would wipe out the defenders outside the gate and begin summoning spells to destroy the Gate all the while taking huge losses from the defenders all across the Gate, and the wall. As the spell though reached its zenith the Titan Ares and the Angiris Council summoned out front of the Diamond Gate and battled the Djinn. Seeing his force dying around him Neru would challenge Ares to battle, but in an act of great insult Ares would reject the offer and continue massacring the Djinn summoning the spell.
"I believed him to be invisible for my entire excistence so seeing him fall was a moment of incredible horror. He turned around as the blade sliced through his chest, and his eyes looked full of regret, and horror, and I made a full bee line towards in the hopes I could save him. As I moved forward as if it was happening in slow motion his body begin to move away like sand blowing in the wind. By the time I reached him grabbed for him but nothing remained of him except the dust from him."
As neru chased him around the battlefield the Archangel Imperius would step forward and duel him. Neru must have believed him a joke, but after only a few minutes of fighting Imperius layed him low, and destroyed Neru forever. With the death of Neru the force of Djinn became overcome with fear, and Ares, and the Angiris Council made their retreat throough the Diamond Gate leaving the rest of the force to be slowly destroyed by the defenders on the walls. In a moment of leadership Kargoth would gather the leadership across the battlefield of the Djinn and lead them off the field of battle towards their old home in the Fade. As they fled the battlefield they were harassed by the forces of Chaos of whom did not want them to retreat as they were close to breaking the Diamond Gate and basically wanted them to die for a little more damage on the gate. Either way Kargoth managed to get the rest of the Djinn out, and they would make their way to their home in the Fade. When they reached it Kargoth knew they couldn't remain so they made their way to the Earth where he planned to hide his people in the same way his father had hid inside the Fade. Kargoth and the Djinn would decide quickly that they would take no part in the First War on Earth because they were rebuilding their strength in the lands now known as the Kizlev.
With the siege dragging on but not fully capable of being won due to the overwhelming defences the other Chaos Gods attempted to make the Titans leave the safety of their fortress by overwhelming entire corners of the Fade and in this way taunting the Titans to stop them from unleashing hell on the planet. With the threat completely real the Titans mobilized all their strength and attempted to break the seige, but discovered that the Chaos Gods completely outnumbered them and they were swiftly beaten back into Olympas with heavy losses.
With the Titans beaten thourghally but still holding the inpenatrable Olympas the Chaos Gods moved their plans to unleashing their massive armies on the planet Earth.
War on Earth
Main Article : First War with Chaos
The forces of Chaos miscalculated how powerful the mortals had become, and in a brazen act of defiance the servents of the Old Ones managed to push back Chaos. With their armies defeated the Noble Titans swooped in during the infighting amongst Chaos and began putting into place defences as best they could in order to assist the mortals.
Followers of Nurgle
Champion of Nurgle
Nurgle distributed his gifts of pestilence and decay generous. His Champions , ravaged by disease, are protected against such pests, because they get used to the pain and discomfort, and while her body rot, receive the spirit of Nurgle they live, where unworthy mortals would have long since rotted away. So can Champion of Nurgle endure wounds and pains that others would to its knees, and still continue to fight in his name. They are more terrible than all the other Champions of Chaos to see, because her rotten flesh peeling from their bones, their intestines are bloated with body gases and their stench of decay is a constant reminder of the fate that awaits all living creatures, while its leprous skin more leathery is.

Whether the Red disease, brain fever, or black rot attacks the enemy, however, entirely responsible for Father Nurgle. His God also gave him the ability to regenerate as a chaos gift.
He was one of the few marauders who built a veritable empire. While Asavar Kul Chaosinkursion he attacked with heavy losses Kraka Drak , the most famous military town of Norscazwerge and defeated not only all the armies at the gates, but also destroyed all the inhabitants. The fortress was later repopulated by Norscazwergen. His ruthless marauders from the north attacked again and again the kingdom of Kislev and the northern empire of. His name was at the time of Magnus all feared. Legends say that Valnir in his youth, after he had lost his family, of Nurgle has blessed. He was awarded the title of the butcher and the flail soul collectors . Later, when he was in a siege battle in Praag took part and then in a battle at the gates of Kislev of Tzar Alexis of Kislev was slain himself, hid his followers, the corpse of the dead and seated him on a primitive throne above deep on a towering altar The Chaos Wastes , where he rotted for decades before him. Two hundred years later than Nurgle, which had fallen the unremitting slaughter and destruction of his servant, he breathed new life and him his champion stood on the battlefield, the reverence of the Crow tribe was great when her corpse totem rose and old of his altar descended to a new death and destruction over the kingdoms of the people to bring. Since Valnir common than decaying, living corpse in a brutally stinking, rusty armor, armed with a contaminated Flegel 's death and pestilence in the name of his patron god. Where it appears to follow plagues and diseases, and wells dry up waters are unfit for human consumption. Rabid animals, people sick, weak and starving.
Mortal Followers of Nurgle
As opposed to the other Ruinous Powers of Chaos, many of Nurgle's followers do so by no choice of their own. The taint of Nurgle spreads readily among beast and humanoid alike, and the awful ailment known as Nurgle's Rot may strike even the strongest and cause him to be outcast as a leper. Despite the nature of his influence, Nurgle does take an interest in the victims of the diseases he unleashes (which he considers to be "gifts"), jovially caring for them in a manner similar to that of a loving grandfather; for this reason he is frequently referred to by his cultists as Grandfather Nurgle. This also causes some individuals that would have otherwise never been infected to seek out infectious disease or even poison themselves to earn his favor.
As the Chaos God of disease and decay, Nurgle's followers are often equally interested in the spread of disease. His followers become infected with horrific diseases which cause them to appear bloated and rotting, or wizened, sickly and pale. His Champions often become so mutated and putrid that they are impervious to pain and almost impossible to injure.
While equally as powerful as Khorne or Tzeentch when his plagues are at their peak, perhaps even more so, Nurgle's strength tends to wax and wane much more than that of the other Ruinous Powers, leaving him with little or no army one day and unstoppable hordes of rotting followers the next.
Demons of Nurgle
Nurgle and his daemons, in contrast to their morbid and putrid appearance, are jovial and friendly in demeanor. Nurgle is often referred to as Grandfather Nurgle, Father Nurgle or Papa Nurgle by his followers because of his paternal nature.
The diseases of Nurgle lend themselves well to the creation of chaos demons, and his host is by no means insignificant.
- Nurglings are tiny, mischievous daemons, resembling a miniaturized version of Nurgle himself. They normally appear in large numbers, forming swarms which accompany armies dedicated to Nurgle. Occasionally very dedicated champions of Nurgle will become infested with Nurglings, which will live in gaping wounds and orifices on the champion's body; when the champion comes under attack, these will help defend their "home".
- Plaguebearers are rotting, wasted creatures of vaguely humanoid size and appearance, with a single burning eye. Flies continually buzz around them, therefore making them more difficult to fight. The many diseases carried by these daemons can be used to terrible effect during battle.
- Beasts of Nurgle are truly horrendous aberations. They have soft, sticky and mottled body of a pallid slug, webbed feet that flap uselessly, a face of writhing green tentacles, and a whiptail growth that bursts from its back and which wags constantly from side to side..
- Great Unclean Ones are massive, bloated disease carriers, whose decaying flesh bulges with corpulent cancers. They usually carry a massive, rusted blade known as a "Plague Sword" into battle, said to be dipped in the foul pus and contagion at the base of Nurgle's throne. They generally act as the leaders and father figures for the other daemons, epitomizing Nurgle's joyful, paternal nature.
- Epidemius is Nurgle’s chosen Tallyman, one of the seven Proctors of Pestilence and the cataloguer of all the Plaguelord’s diseases. Epidemius’ task is an unending one, and it generates a great deal of paperwork, so he rides a palanquin to share the burden – and to more easily force a path through Nurgle’s hordes. Two dozen Nurglings attend the Tallyman’s every need, providing the parchment, operating the death’s head abacus, excreting the ink for the quill pens and even defending Epidemius from harm should foolish enemy venture too close.
- Slime Hounds are foul creatures resembling a putrid, overgrown, mutated slug.
